Item Description

Demian Castellanos is known as the man behind London's psych-rock outfit The Oscillation. His obsession, throughout the '90s, for the infinite possibilities offered by the electric guitar -playing it with forks, knives, bits of paper, volume control, and making the most of the effects pedals he had- led to countless hours of experimentation and sonic explorations, recorded with a 4-track Tascam cassette machine. Largely influenced by the (at the time) new sounds of the British psyche/shoegaze scene, his music could be described as analogue and guitar based ambient music or room drones. Some 15 years down the line, Demian decided to dig out his endless night and day recordings of that period, reflecting a bizarre conversation between his older and younger self.
