Eric Ericksson Ed's EP

Eric Ericksson is back with his fourth release on Swedish Brandy Productions. A stunning hot deep four tracker. Excellent quality productions in every aspect that differs a bit in style. The a- side starts of with the track “Old Made New”. A spirited house gem packed with bouncing bass, shuffled grooves, filtered pads and smart synth hooks punching in and out.

Next up is the techy afro house inspired cut “November” with it's sturdy and hypnotic groove. Vigorous dubby chords, stabs and percussion combined with energetic and dramatic strings.

The flip side starts of with the chilled and elegant “Catch You”. Deep and crisp sounding with great swing and punch, flavoured with visionary and dreamlike soundscapes mixed with a slightly techy vibe that gives this track it's grand feel and golden touch.

The last track of the EP is the jazzy and soulful title track “Ed's Song”. Bouncing bass line, sweet and groovy Fender Rhodes with a whole lot of 90's hip hop inspired sample wizardry.

In the past Eric has also released on labels such Fragile, Planet E Communications, Papa Records, Freerange and Local Talk. His full length album will be released this spring on Swedish Brandy Productions.
