""I wrote this track while playing with G2G and Mike Banks was always pushing us to ""electrify your roots."" Though my family is not Cuban, Cuban music has been a huge part of my musical development as a musician. The track uses traditional Cuban rumba rhythms (Guaguanco) to trigger synths and percussion samples alike to create a dense polyrhythmic cushion for the track to sit on.
