Item Description

Although Freddie has a long and varied career as a musician and bandleader, his vinyl output under his own name does not reflect this. Here we have one of the rarer of his 45s, a big spin as far back as the days of the legendary Wigan Casino. A great northern record that breaks the formulaic rules but is still held in high regard, this is a Class A double sider with a mouth-watering latin tinge that has recently topped $1000 for a clean original. Not only have we managed to track down the rights to this dancefloor beast but we also got access to the tapes and it now sounds at least twice as good as the original 45. Cut by the skilled technicians at Timmion in Finland - the best in the world for retro 45 cuts - and mastered for 2013 the low end reproduction is now audible in its full glory.
