GTMK (Gregor Tresher & Monika Kruse) Calling East

Having pummelled our floors with Bart Skils 'Shantaram', the Break New Soil faithful are set to enjoying a meeting of musical super-powers as label chief Gregor Tresher joins forces once again with Monika Kruse under their GTMK alias. Having worked on projects together in the past, the German duo decided that now was the time to team up again. "Monika and myself have been friends for many years and have worked on quite a lot of music together" says Gregor. "We released two EPs in 2007 on Intacto and Terminal M and we also worked on Monika's 2008 album 'Changes Of Perception'. At the tail end of 2012 we decided that we should work on some new material and our new Break New Soil ep is the result." As GTMK our duo present the arena-busting 'Calling East' and the gritty heads-down stomp of, 'Trooper.' The lead track is set to be a festival favourite with its euphoric synth riff, epic builds and bass swells, whilst on the flip its straight into battle as 'Trooper' drives on armed with its evil napalm-tipped kick drum.
