HDSN has a style all his own, but his disco tingled, futuristic, groovy sound evolved from the likes of Paul Johnson or Armand Van Helden who played around with old records using samplers and drum machines in the 90s, when House Music was mostly an underground phenomenon that could only be heard at nightclubs or through homemade DJ mixes. So it´s hardly surprising that his latest EP sounds like it was straight out of this golden era - with “Whiplash" he delivers one of the best records to hit the market yet, pure vibes and so ecstatic through out the course of all four tracks that are outstanding.
