John Talabot Fin Remixes Part 1

Hot on the wheels of John Talabot's highly anticipated album ƒin, that earned rave reviews from Pitchfork to Resident Advisor, and became one of the crossover hit albums of the year, here comes the first heavyweight remix package. In fact it was too heavy for just one record so it consists of a 12inch and a 10inch. The 12inch is owned by the Pachanga Boys, the uber-cool tag team and classic odd couple consisting of Rebolledo and Superpitcher. While their long (in the truest sense of the word) runner "Time" still keeps destroying dancefloors all over the world, the Pachangas have come up with not only one but with three different versions of "When the Past Was Present" - Blue, Purple and Red. Each version uses other parts from the original designed for different phases of a night so you can easily play all three at the same party.

The 10inch is split up between Bullion and Kenton Slash Demon. They both are strangers to genre boundaries and are building bridges between Twisted Pop, Organic House and UK Bass music. Young Turks and R&S regular Bullion have been tinkering a complete new song out of "Destiny". Using his own voice he even wrote new lyrics to show us his vision of state of the art pop music in 2012. Denmark's duo Kenton Slash Demon, who made quite a stir with their releases on Tartelet, come correct with one of their finest remix works to date and give "Last Land " the broken house treatment.
