Under the tablecloth of Steve Murphy and Die Roh first releases, Madi Grein has recently collaborated with Sagats (boss of Noho Records) for two exciting 90s flavoured EP for Housewax and Eat More House. Being a full time of the Riviera and the Vape/Vulcano projects, he can be considered without doubts a true ambassador of The Sound of Brenta. “Mainly Love” is a truly dancefloor EP, raw and old-schoolish. Clean drums drive an hypnotic vocal hook on “Mantide”,sleaking a visceral dribbling bass. “Express Yourself”, has been heavily influenced from a short trip to London, as fast broken beats lurk under acid frequencies, soulful vocals and scattered piano fills. “I´m feeling hot“ is pure sweat for the dancers. Its remix Marieu (half of The Analogue Cops and boss of Restoration and EnlightenedWax) which closes the record with a reckless remix with strange guitars and mysterious alien samples.
