An LP of 1971 rehearsal recordings, dating from the period that the UK cult heroes were preparing for their second and final LP, 'A Jug Of Love'. By the summer of 1971, Mighty Baby had shed the psychedelic trappings in favour of a more spiritual, reflective approach. Taped in the band's London basement, these unique recordings are the first signs of that stylistic change. This LP on 180-GRAM VINYL is released in an edition of only 400 copies. It's presented in a heavyweight embossed gatefold cover and includes a bonus 7-inch featuring rare versions of 'Messages' and 'Ancient Traveller'. You also get a facsimile postcard insert and a facsimile 1969 shop poster. 'Slipstreams' is an essential release for the many fans of this highly rated late '60s-early '70s band!
