Mo First Album - A Collection Of Publisher's Demo

First Album' is a very rare album, originally released in a tiny run of 200 copies in 1976. This is the first ever reissue, coming with faithfully reproduced labels, cover and even number of copies. So, almost 40 years later, 200 more copies of this gem see the light of day, expanded with a previously unreleased bonus track. Moe Whittemore (a.k.a. Mo), was the founder of the Indianapolis 700West Studios and the record label bearing the same name. Moe was responsible for recordings of a.o. Primevil, Zerfas, Buccaneer, Dan Modlin & Dave Scott, Sailor, etc. This album, as its subtitle suggests, was put out as a kind of promotional item for Moe's and 700West's recordings. Moe plays keyboards, piano and/or the homemade synth on all the tracks while a cast of fellow musicians (from Zerfas, Primevil, Peddler, Jubal, Sequoiah...) helped him to build this diverse album, which is tough to define musically. Expect psychedelia, acidy freakouts, spacey moves, funky soul, progressive outings, electronica, avant garde, folk, Americana... The Lp includes a bonus cut and a 4-page insert with notes, trivia, photos and lyrics. Limited to 200 copies on 180-gram black vinyl.
