Three vastly different takes on the original ep that catapulted My Nu Leng & Majora into the spotlight. Grime legend Alias has long been a hero both to the My Nu Leng guys and to everyone involved in 877 Records. Tracks like Gladiator, Gully and Heat have been in all our record bags for years and still sound as fresh today as they ever did. Alias’s remix of The Grid is everything we hoped it would be, an up to the minute reworking with ‘that’ classic Alias sound bringing a fresh take on the original that we all know so well. Kry Wolf (Dirtybird/Food Music) have absolutely smashed their remix of My Nu Leng and Majora’s Hips N Thighs. Bringing their trademark booty shakin’ bounce and bass approach in abundance. Clipped garage style drums sit alongside a dirty DnB growl and percussive subs making an infectious house roller not to be forgotten. GoldFFinch (Dirtybird/Numbers) return to 877 with what could be thought of as the wild card of the release. Hips N Grids is their unique mashup of of both the tracks from the original ep. Theirs is an altogether deeper more subtle affair than the other remixes, but by no means a track to be left out of a dancefloor set.
