Newbie Nerdz I Am So EP

Starting the release is the first original track "I Am So", which sees Newbie Nerdz deliver on point. The house fuelled track delivers a direct 4/4 rhythm, layered with continuous piano stabs and echoing vocals. Up next, are the sounds of the second original track "Every Time", which sees another solid delivery from the duo. Featuring stretched out basslines, coupled with wavering tones and tripled with an original male vocal, this one is our personal favourite. First to deliver the first of two remixes this release offers, is Hypercolour artist Last Magpie who moulds "I Am So" to his own. Bass heavy with plenty off-kilter drums, synth and vocals; this remix offers an infectious emotive sound. Closing the release is Italy's Leon, who serves up his trippy dub remix of "Every Time". Leon ensures his hooky drum fuelled sound cleverly progresses throughout the entirety of the track, whilst introducing subtle elements and vocals to rework this into an ultimate dub rework.
