Orchestre Miniature In The Park (OMP) Songs About The Sun

The Orchestre Miniature in the Park consists of about 30 people, who play music with small instruments and it would be very colourless if they are described with 'colourful'. Since 2007 at all imaginable and unimaginable places the Orchestra affects the hearts of people with songs about the sun, psychotropic drugs, lovesickness, and first and foremost about the summer.
The hefty organized chaos, the unbridled energy and supernatural choirs of angels at the live shows are combined by the first Album of the Orchestra in a popmusical Big Bang consisting of voices and instruments, which pulls away the floor under the feet and carries out to the open seas. Odd creatures are living there – they squeak pleasantly, or purr secretly, modulate swiftly. Or they float through the huge sound space like in slow motion, without any use of hall devices.
Klaus Cornfield (Throw That Beat In The Garbagecan! / Katze), Singer and Head of the Orchestra, let sound his familiar buzz- and twang-voice with well dosed pathos and well proved in hundreds of OMP live shows. 'Songs About The Sun' are 13 songs full of sunshine, ease in difficult topics, and lots of surprises. If one asks each member of OMP what they actually are, they should agree on this or at least a simliar answer: We are an Orchestra without notes. A Band without amps. Thirty voices, wild tinkling, unsteered energy and apart from that only chaos. Still we create something unique and incomparable. Something out of music. And we believe to have a mission: Summer, Sun, Hits!
