Item Description
"The Pharmacy began in 1995 when Harlem NYC rap duo Quiet Noize (Layed Bak & Bad Ass), members of Rakims Last Platoon ventured off to start their own team. Pharmacy consisted of five emcee’s from the surrounding boros of NYC. Quiet Noize the Duo, Blackness, Absoloot and the queen of the pack Taboo. In 1997 lead by Bad Ass (T.Smith) of Quiet Noize, Pharmacy released there first EP titled "Heavy Sedation" produced by Quiet Noize long time mentor Garth “Da Dread” Mitchells. Heavy Sedation featured tracks like the party anthem “Somethinlight” conscious songs like “Antidote” and neck snapping flows on “What's Da deal” & “Whateva”. In 1999 Pharmacy disassembled, Taboo and Absoloot discontinued their music careers and Pharmacy continued being led by Bad Ass of Quiet Noize. They later resurfaced with new member Tommy Gibbs changing the groups name to Numba Runnas.
