Despite being loosely aligned with a growing underground of US artists cross-pollinating between techno and noise, what's so beguiling about his work as Prostitutes is its refusal to occupy any one stylistic space. Drawing in traits from post-punk and avant-funk as much as club music and noise, it's a perfect fit for Diagonal, whose output to date has occupied similarly tough-to-define in-between zones.
