A 4-track tape by San Francisco based synthwave act Replicanti, entitled, 'Electric Mistress'. Replicanti (Italian for 'Replicant', a knowing nod to the cult sci-fi classic 'Blade Runner'), takes the minimal synth template and adds a flourish of early Nitzer Ebb and 'Black Celebration'-era Depeche Mode. There are also echoes of early French cold wave protagonists, 'KaS Product', and the darkly gothic overtones of Joy Division. Limited to 100 cassettes.
