In the intersection between dreamy soundscapes, atmospheric beats and more direct, club-oriented sounds fit for the dark peak hours of the party, the 23-year-old Danish producer Sekuoia creates hypnotic electronic music with a warm, organic sensibility.
The full-length album sees Sekuoia moving further into unknown territory from here, collaborating with strong vocal artists and pushing his sound in a slightly more upbeat direction with a distinct pop sensibility.

The album includes collaborations with the experimental Danish songstress Kill J on the sultry electronic, r’n’b-induced gem « Lamp in the Dark », while Marc Roland, leading man from the grandiose Danish pop orchestra Kentaur, lends his strong vocals to the immediately catchy « Brace » with its pulsating rhythm, infectious hook and crystal-clear hit potential.
Other album tracks explore a vast variety of electronic expressions, from hands-in-the-air euphoria on « Helix » and « Bashed », to ghostly, chopped-up vocal samples and a melancholic inflection on the lead single « Someone’s Problem ».
