Seven Apart Hold My Hand

Seven Apart follows up his contribution to WIP’s "Once Upon A Time In Barcelona" with his first solo EP "Hold My Hand". Rich with emotional intensity - all three tracks showcase melodic complexity and a knack for moving dance floors. Get Me Out Of Here gently wades in with intertwining synths and strings. A subtly detuned motif circles around the mix while an anthemic vocal cut steadily swells into focus. Rueful minor tones are propelled by a softly frazzled kick and some purposeful percussion that work together to place it comfortably in the closing stages of a set. Hold My Hand chugs in with sharpened hats gleaming above a spearing bass pattern. Sportive sequence lines and soft melodicism emit a warming glow whilst effective reverberation brings percussive knocks to life and an arresting vocal chop rings out. "Now We Go" opens with some fervent piano chords as filter control thickens and thins minor-key synth tones. A rise gives way to a lustrous blend of parallel keys, rounded bass tones and drifting vocal snippets rich with enough intensity to close a set.
