ssential reissue of Tappa Zukie's classic reggae disco cut "Freak" repackaged in authentically designed Stars sleeve. Zukie only ever dropped one certified reggae disco number, but they don't come much better than "Freak" whose titular refrain still exudes as much attitude as it originally did with the heavily swung and grooved bass and soaring strings still intact. The B-side features the Stars' in-house band, Musical Intimidator, performing their own cosmic, dub-heavy version of the original layered with oscillating synthoid stabs, organ workouts and heavy hitting stabs of guitar. It's a real gem that properly steals the show! A considered purchase for any left of centre disco selectors out there who don't already possess this gem.
