Item Description
Telford “Tilly” Nelson hails from the hills of St. Andrew, Jamaica. He began singing at a young age with his first recording “Callie Weed” in 1975. After a steady solo career, Tilly joined the harmony trio Culture with Joseph Hill and Albert Walker. Following the passing of Joseph Hill in 2006, Tilly still continues as harmony vocalist with Culture now featuring Kenyatta Hill. During the 80s and 90s, Tilly continued recording such gems as the brilliant “Rough Road” voiced for producer and long time friend Sonny Thomas in 1990. A heavily sought after record and very difficult to find until now, TRS is pleased to announce the reissue. “Though the road may be so rough, won’t give up”.
