Nowadays Records, the label that goes along with the new wave of french independent music that stands out, is proud to present its latest discovery :UNNO (the UNexpected NOte) United like brothers, Awir Leon, J.Kid & Tisme, all members of the prolific Dunkirk-based collective JAYFLY, formed UNNO in 2011. The band did his first ever live at the french TV show "Taratata" and has been selected as "Discovery of the Printemps de Bourges". The bands influences are extremely varied, making their style hard to box and their music unique.The trio displays a insolent freedom in the way they create music - each track tells a story of many unexpected turns - they forbid nothing, allow everything. On stage, they deliver an energy that is as dreamy as it is explosive. Raw and sensitive, energetic and melancolic, UNNO could be placed in the line of pop/electro artists such as Metronomy or James Blake, if they were to have met J Dilla in the studio.
