The Watch Tracks From The Alps

The WatcH is a 5 piece band born in 2001. Their music is inspired by classic 70s style progressive-rock. Melodies and energy are the main features of The Watch music. Their brand new album "Tracks from the Alps" is the bands sixth studio album, which looks like being one of their best since their first one released in 2001. The musical atmospheres in the album change a lot through the songs, from very rock powerful progressions to quiet and more acoustic sections performed by 12 strings guitars arpeggios and electric pianos. Producing the album the band has used only original instruments from the 70s, like mellotron, hammond organ, synthesizers branded moog, electric pianos hohner (the same one used by Beatles), double neck and 12 strings electric and acoustic guitar. Arrangements are reach and melodies are always to be discovered and something never foregone, this is what keeps the tension high when listening to this album. Lyrics are all about the Alps, a place that was veryimportant in some of the bands members life.
