YZ - not to be confused with the rapper - sings Kaifa, a poem by Ahmad bin Said al-Busaidi (circa 1710-1783). YZ's fine, melismatic style is underscored by hypnotic, arpeggiated synthesizer riffs, while the darker B side blends more sufi poetry with a stripped down hard beat. Additional arrangement, recorded and mixed by, d.trep, at Kilohertz Club, Brussels.

Housed in a picture sleeve designed by the artist, with an insert containing more artwork, lyrics and English translation. Mastered by Mike Grinser at D&M
