Minimal Wave Merchandise

Minimal Wave Records is an American record label from New York City, founded by Veronica Vasicka in 2005 and specialized in electronic music. In concrete the label concecrates itself to handmade, synthesizer-based new wave of the 1970s and 1980s. The DIY character of the raw tape recordings and the associated punk attitude, Vasickas compilations for Stones Throw, her DJ mixes and her program for the East Village Radio helped the label to hip attention and great interest to the expert audience. And it brought artists like Das Ding, Turquoise Days, Oppenheimer Analysis, Felix Kubin and Hard Corps to the new generation. Among the released records are not only re-releases. A lot of the tape recordings are presented to an audience for the first time by Minimal Wave.
