For The Culture

The cultural and especially the club scene has been hit hard by the effects of the coronavirus. It is uncertain when the clubs, in Berlin and around the world, can return to normal operation. We have always seen ourselves as a part of the whole scene and supported clubs and concerts wherever we could. Now more than ever we feel obliged to support them. For us, it was obviously: Our support comes in vinyl.

We are happy to present »For The Culture« – a 7" vinyl series to support the Berlin club scene. In cooperation with six clubs that are strongly connected to us, we created a limited 45, t-shirt and poster each. The complete proceeds will go to the venues and hopefully help them a little bit in this difficult time.

The Panke is a creative multi-purpose space in Wedding with the aim to promote experimental and fringe creativity in Berlin, as well as to offer an alternative meeting point for the up-and-coming creative scene. From early Project Mooncircle nights to beat sessions and jams – the Panke was host for many memories. For Berlin and us.

The Badehaus, located on the RAW area, offers a stage for bands and artists from every imaginable corner of the world and almost every genre and has become a permanent and important part of our neighbourhood. Berlin is known for its diversity and the Badehaus can rightly claim to have made a major contribution to this for almost 10 years.

Hot nights to tropical sounds, pumping Hip Hop shows, culinary delights and the cosy flexing on the beach. All this and much more we love about the »Young African Art Market« alias YAAM. Since the mid 90s it is a unique, intercultural meeting place and indispensable for us and Berlin!

In 2013 the Humboldthain Club was lovingly and laboriously transformed into the location it is today: a place for great concerts, rousing parties, extravagant exhibitions and much more. Our friends and culture freaks in Wedding have been providing a breath of fresh air in Wedding and Berlin since day one.

The Cassiopeia is our neighbour, living room and garden all-in-one. At the same time, the club on the RAW area in Friedrichshain was and is a long-standing partner of HHV events and the »Diggin Days«. The audience is just as colourful as the music offerings. Whether it is Punk, Hip Hop or Pop. Cassiopeia masters the balancing act skilfully and with a lot of love.

The Gretchen in Kreuzberg is particularly important for HHV and we are fans from the very beginning (cue: Icon). We have celebrated countless evenings, PMC label nights and also the »Diggin Days« together. The Gretchen stands out in Berlin like no other venue and manages to surprise and inspire, not only us, repeatedly with its bookings and events. Culture and diversity? Right here!
