Published in 2005, The Void is a book that features a collection of photographs by Naoki Ishikawa. The photos illustrate the primeval forest on the North Island of New Zealand. A young Naoki Ishikawa trekked solo through these forests for a month and a half, taking pictures of what he saw as he went.
