Baiuca Misturas

Less than a year after the publication of "Solpor", iconic and historic Baiuca's debut, which placed it as one of the most avant-garde and cross-cutting proposals on the circuit, connecting the root of Galician music with the most innovative contemporary electronics; He now returns with "Misturas", an album in which, from the original recording tracks of Xosé Lois Romero & Aliboria's debut, he manages to rebuild, resize and take to a new stadium.

We are not talking about versions or remixes: in "Misturas", Baiuca manages to compose part of that repertoire from a different perspective and from another genetics when it comes to building the songs. The wild racial character of Aliboria is maintained, but, in turn, it is taken to a new territory, in which it flirts not only with electronics, but with other Eastern and Iberian rhythms and with addictive and immediate pop structures.

An EP that comes for the first time in vinyl format and that crosses and breaks down the borders between popular music, pop structures, experimental music (dares to sound the voices in reverse, even), the most avant-garde electronics and a luck of mixology of popular music in which nuances and textures are identified not only of traditional Galician music, but also of oriental rhythms, flamenco guitars, cadences of Latin American and African music and a production of western style.
