Groovesh Slowset EP

The third vinyl installment from FarFromNormal features an excellent 4 track EP from the young, Romanian producer Groovesh. After producing a remix for Jamie Haus' "Meiose", Groovesh is back with his first vinyl release, "Slowset", which features 3 original tracks alongside a wonderful remix from Silat Beksi. The record enchants us with its deep, dubby feel and its head bobbing tech groove, as Groovesh knows how to add just the right sounds to make each of his tracks intriguing and danceable, without straying from the minimalist approach to music.The record debuts with "Arrow", a subtle, slow burner with a contagious bass line and a hint of dub, the perfect track to get the party started, continued with the dynamic beats on "Rewind" which make it a classic groover. B-side presents "Slowset", which features the same rousing bass and rhythm, along with two warm synths that brighten up the vibe and offer a refreshing twist, while the Silat Beski remix of the tune is an invigorating breakbeat reinterpretation.
