Giano Records is the creation of a collective of Rome based DJs and producers with the objective of intertwining the future and the past, the hopes and fears / the doubts and dreams of our times into a single sonic thread. In these dark times, the present is uncertain, the future, or rather, the “new future” has become a necessity as beginnings and endings blend together, and it is in this space-time that searching for a new vision becomes the priority. The Utopia of the past and dystopic future dance together insinuating themselves into the human psyche in vertiginous waves culminating in a social and psycho-emotive big bang; and from this big bang that Giano Records is born in the form of a sonic supernova.
