Following 2015's beautifully written introspective album 'Golden Age', singer-songwriter Chris Staples is back with his upcoming full length release, 'Holy Moly'. While maintaining the authentic reflection Staples is known for in his songwriting, he has embraced a cautiously optimistic outlook for his future. Staples finds gentle melodies with his trademark stripped-back guitar, and also introduces new sounds by integrating keyboards for sonically lush arrangements. Staples' previous releases were met with praise from NPR's All Songs Considered, American Songwriter, Paste, The AV Club, and more.

Amends dwells in the intricacies of relationships -- broken bonds between friends, family, and lovers -- and hoping to heal. A contemplation on loss and forgiveness, the album volleys between the perspectives of D'Agustino and co-songwriter/lead guitarist Andrew Wolfson. The 11 tracks deal with universal themes including the tension of family, loss, and learning to move on without resentment (Amends, Lighthouse), breakups (Unwind With Me), anxieties (Downstairs), and hope for the future (Silver Screen). As a whole, Amends represents Active Bird Communitys efforts to contend honestly with the pain of their experiences and explore the empowering nature of forgiveness. Active Bird Communitys 2017 album, Stick Around, was self-released last year and hailed as a scrappy punk slugfest rife with immediate post-college struggles" (Billboard), and superb...full of addicting cuts" (Earmilk). The band -- who have been playing together since middle school -- recently played a sold-out show at Brooklyn's Knitting Factory as part of Northside Festival, have toured with artists including Cymbals Eat Guitars and We Were Promised Jetpacks, and performed at festivals including Panorama and Audiotree. Active Bird Community are: Tom Agustino (vocals, guitar), Andrew Wolfson (vocals/lead guitar), Quinn McGovern (drums), and Zach Slater (bass).

Thank You For Today, Death Cab for Cutie's ninth studio album, was produced and mixed by Rich Costey (Fiona Apple, Franz Ferdinand, Muse), who also produced the band's last album the GRAMMY® nominated Kintsugi. Thank You for Today marks the first Death Cab for Cutie release to see long time bandmates Gibbard, Nick Harmer, and Jason McGerr joined in the studio by new members Dave Depper (Menomena, Fruit Bats, Corin Tucker, Ray Lamontagne) and Zac Rae (My Brightest Diamond, Fiona Apple, Lana Del Rey, Gnarls Barkley). Depper and Rae have both been part of Death Cab's touring band since 2015.

The story of Big Scary begins in Melbourne, Australia, where duo Tom Iansek and Jo Syme, armed with just acoustic guitars and egg shakers, started playing songs together in the living room of Syme’s parents’ house, gradually working up to a bolder, more expansive sound by incorporating electric guitars, drums, synths and piano. What began as a few rainy day acoustic ballads in their first incarnation soon grew, and before long, the newly named Big Scary were writing anything they pleased – fuzzed-out garage rock; piano-led pop; intricate, pastoral instrumentals – each imbued with an effortless pop sensibility and lightness of touch that would quickly see the duo attract a strong following in their home country. Following a series of early self-released singles and EPs, Big Scary released the intimately crafted debut album Vacation in 2011 via the band’s own label Pieater. The album brought the pair widespread acclaim, and earned the duo a large Australian audience with nominations for ‘Album Of The Year’ from Triple J and ‘Breakthrough Artist Of The Year’ from AIR (Australian Independent Record Labels Association), plus a small but growing cult following overseas. 2012 saw Big Scary take its first small steps onto the world stage – earning further underground acclaim via a self-funded North American tour that saw Tom and Jo play SXSW, CMW, and CMJ, impressing whatever audiences happened upon the versatility, lovable magnetism, intelligent songwriting and dynamic live performances that make up the band’s riveting shows.On the heels of their adventures abroad, an invigorated Tom and Jo returned home and began recording their second full length album. Grappling with the pressures and perceived responsibilities of their Australian success, the daunting goal of bringing their music to wider audiences, and their own expectations of themselves as writers and creators, the band eventually settled into making an album that would be, paradoxically, hotly anticipated at home while acting simultaneously as a first introduction to almost all audiences elsewhere: Not Art.The Melbourne-based duo has become a household name in Australian indie-pop circles and has a growing cult following overseas.
