Capcom and Laced Records continue their partnership to bring classic video game music to vinyl with Mega Man™ X 1-8: The Collection, a deluxe eight-disc box set featuring 210 tracks from the mainline titles in the Mega Man X series spanning 1993-2004. Launched on the Super Nes® as the gaming world transitioned from 8-bit to 16-bit consoles, the Mega Man X series introduced more mobility to the action-platforming series, as well as new plotlines and characters including X, Zero, and Axl. Composers include Setsuo Yamamoto (Mega Man X), Yuki “Sato” Iwai (Mega Man X & Mega Man X2), Yuko Takehara (Mega Man X), Makoto “Tomozou” Tomozawa (Mega Man X), Kinuyo Yamashita (Mega Man X3), Toshihiko Horiyama (Mega Man X4), Naoto Tanaka (Mega Man X5) and Akemi Kimura (Mega Man X6, Mega Man X7 & Mega Man X8); Yuko Komiyama, Shinya ""Midnight"" Okada and Seiko Kobuchi (Mega Man X7 & Mega Man X8 as ‘Capcom Sound Team’); Makoto Asai, Teruo Konishi, Shuichi Mizohata, Noriyuki Iwadare and Takuya Miyawaki (Mega Man X7 as ‘Valuewave’); and the music of Yasuaki “Bun Bun” Fujita and original Mega Man composer Manami Matsumae.

"Capcom and Laced Records have teamed up to bring the music of the Street Fighter™ III series to vinyl.

The Street Fighter™ III: The Collection four-disc box set will include 72 tracks from Street Fighter III: New Generation, 2nd Impact: Giant Attack, and 3rd Strike: Fight For The Future.

Street Fighter III first hit arcades in 1997 with New Generation, retaining only Ryu and Ken while introducing an otherwise brand new cast of characters. The final iteration, 3rd Strike, is widely recognized as one of the greatest fighting games of all time, and generated perhaps the most indelible competitive moment in gaming, with Daigo’s comeback again Justin Wong aka “Evo Moment #37.”

Composers Hideki Okugawa and Yuki Iwai explored a range of high energy dance styles across the three titles, leaning most heavily on jazzy house, jungle and drum’n’bass — with some samba rhythms thrown in for good measure.

Tracks have been specially remastered for vinyl and will be pressed onto four audiophile-quality, heavyweight 180g black discs. These will be housed in individual spined sleeves, contained within a rigid board outer slipcase."

Laced Records' Resident Evil vinyl series continues with the action-packed Resident Evil 3 remake, plunging players into the heart-pounding pursuit of Jill Valentine by the relentless Nemesis in stunning HD.

With meticulous care, 24 tracks from the game have been specially mastered for vinyl, ready to be pressed onto traditional black heavyweight discs. These vinyl treasures are elegantly housed within a deluxe gatefold sleeve, adorned with captivating sleeve artwork by Capcom.

The game’s esteemed composition team, helmed by the seasoned Resident Evil contributor Masami Ueda, boasts talents such as Kota Suzuki, Takayasu Sodeoka, Azusa Kato, Ryo Koike, Takumi Saito, and Saori Maeda. Together, they craft a score that immerses listeners in the anxious, atmospheric tension unique to Resident Evil titles. Pulsating action cues are expertly woven throughout, guaranteed to set pulses racing, while revisiting nostalgic 1999 themes adds a poignant touch of familiarity to the experience.

Previously only released in 2009 on CD (under the title Rockman Dash 2) as part of the Capcom Special Selection run of limited edition art books, Mega Man Legends 2 now make its debut commercial appearance - on both vinyl and audio cassette - complete with new artwork by mushbuh and liner notes by Jeremy Parish. The score is epic in scope, touched with a mischievous playfulness to match the game’s sense of humor.
