Nick Curly celebrates the 50th release on his imprint with label partner Marc Scholl. Together, they present Nick Curly’s Altrip EP, featuring a guest remix by Manda Moor. The EP commences with the title track 'Altrip,' where robust sub-bass melds seamlessly with vigorous drum programming. Following suit, 'It's You And Me' maintains the same potent energy, featuring cascading note arpeggios and intricate percussive elements that traverse the mix. Manda Moor's 'Burning Remix' of 'Altrip' injects her high-octane sonic signature into the original, employing rave-inspired stabs, panning drums, and sliced vocal samples. As the year '23 enters its final quarter, Cécille Records is set to reinvigorate its event series in collaboration with Peoples Agency. Two official dates stand as markers of this revival. Alongside Nick Curly, an array of artists including Sidney Charles, Manda Moor, Fabe, Leon, De La Swing, Dennis Quin, Timmy P, Reboot and more are poised to join the festivities. The launch will take place under Cécille tent owned by Groove Fest London, while another event is scheduled at ADE in partnership with promoter Hush, hosted at Amsterdam's Melkweg Club.

With its reputation for quality unsurpassed, Cécille helped stimulate a shift in the underground scene, brining back soul and sensuality to music. The label also attracted a wealth of talent, with these new releases marking their new focus on rhythm, groove and melody in todays techno heavy dance floors.
Making his debut on Cécille is a producer that needs little introduction: New Jersey’s Harry Romero. Over the last 20 years, Harry’s music has sound tracked the great dance floors of the world. Tracks such as diverse as ‘Cro-Magnon’, ‘Tania’, ‘Night @ The Black’ or ‘Mas Pito’ (as Mongobonix). Now signed to every high-profile label around, from Subliminal to Crosstown Rebels via Bambossa, his constantly shifting, consistently groovesome beats and super-distinctive drums have cemented him as a world class act.
‘Mood Vision’ see Harry in a playful frame of mind. Disco nuances drift into earshot as the rubbery bass and crisp percs keep time. Modular synths add energy and tension during the drop when all hell breaks loose and your hands automatically reach for the heavens: like early Basement Jaxx brought bang up to date, this one flies. ‘Purge’ is deeper, more percussive of the two. Another rubbery deep house bass takes hold of the subtle tribalism and draws you in to its hypnotism. After his massive remix of Butch - No Worries, Dutch native Dennis Quin returns to Cécille Records. This time with an original EP. It can't be ignored that Dennis Quin, who has collaborated with Kerri Chandler, Mr V. is on fire. With support from the likes of Jamie Jones, Chris Stussy, Enzo Siragusa, Toman and releasing on labels like Defected, PIV. House Music is definitely Dennis’s System. This is also shown with his brand new EP on Cécille including a collaboration with the Victor Romeo (aka Victor Parris Mitchell) & Leatrice Brown hit from 1988 "Love will find a way" This record is a true classic and of the first releases on the legendary Chicago "Dance Mania" label. Not only has Dennis used the original vocal with permission by Victor in a new modern way, but he created a completely new instrumental track amongst it. Ready to roll from Autumn up until next Summer. A true timeless future classic record has born. Label-boss of PIV Records, Prunk took the original to another Club-vibe spectrum which has turned a lot of heads in the club already. The second remix completes this EP and is done by the talented Jesse Maas who injected an amazing classy touch. The main track is joined by a second track that’s called ‘Square World’ another original one by Dennis, showing his moody / melodic skills with hypnotising chords and a firm break-beat groove.
