The Endless River has as its starting point the music that came from the 1993 Division Bell sessions, when David Gilmour, Rick Wright and Nick Mason played freely together at Britannia Row and Astoria studios. This was the first time they had done so since the 'Wish You Were Here' sessions in the seventies. Those sessions resulted in The Division Bell, the band's last studio album.

In 2013 David Gilmour and Nick Mason revisited the music from those sessions and decided that the tracks should be made available as part of the Pink Floyd repertoire. It would be the last time the three of them would be heard together. The band have spent the last year recording and upgrading the music,using the advantages of modern studio technology to create The Endless River.

The Endless River is a tribute to Rick Wright, whose keyboards are at the heart of the Pink Floyd sound. It is a mainly instrumental album with one song, 'Louder Than Words', (with new lyrics by Polly Samson), arranged across four sides and produced by David Gilmour, Phil Manzanera, Youth and Andy Jackson.

After some hot live performances and subversive jaunts made in the aftershock of Woodstock, Santana and his band entered the calm atmosphere of the recording studio to make their sixth album. Limited to 500 copies. Monster rare USA private pressing from 1968, rated with 6 stars in the Hans Pokora 3001 Record Collector's Dreams book. The Yays & Nays were a groovy, hip group (says so on the original LP jacket!) comprised of three guys and three girls. Theirs is a truly unique sounding album, full of creative songwriting and vocal arrangements and a style that defies categorization. There's garage folk-rock-the opening track 'Gotta Keep Traveling' is really astounding!, tracks with vocals in a kind of 'Kicking Against the Pricks"-era Nick Cave-channelling-Tony-Joe-White-meets-Johnny Cash vein, a little country flair, and some cuts of an ''Incredible Strange Music'' type. Weird and wonderful, in it's own peculiar way. Reissued for the first time, in collaboration with band members, and with original artwork.

Back in the days of hard rock and surrounded by fierce competitors with such great names as the Doors, Black Sabbath and the Rolling Stones, a band had to attract attention with far more than histrionic pathos, biker boogie, an adept lead guitarist and a sharp-tongued singer. The band Blue Öyster Cult, founded on Long Island in 1971, possessed all this and much more, relating short scenarios in their lyrics, which conjured up people’s imagination. Rolling Stone magazine enthused that it was »like listenin’ to Hitchcock and Kubrick swap stories about their wet dreams«, and that the group »mix aesthetics and ass-kicking rock to such good advantage«.
In their third studio album "Secret Treaties", BÖC reached the pinnacle of their musical evolution with such memorable songs as "Career Of Evil", "Subhuman" and "Astronomy". The lyrics have literary value but are certainly not intended for sensitive souls – the phrases are direct and intentionally drily articulated. The music is as blatant and extroverted as the lyrics: the guitar sound is steely and straightforward, occasionally padded out with a see-sawing Hammond groove, and topped again and again by wonderfully rough string solos that speak the language of hard, merciless and full-bodied rock.

Reale Impero Britannico surely is the rarest record of the Goblin universe, together with Cherry Five of course. Released in a very small batch of copies in January 1976, as the soundtrack of an obscure movie called "Perché si uccidono" tough it was recorded some time before, when the members of Goblin still called themselves Cherry Five, as the band still featured Cherry Five singer Tony Tartarini (who sings in the excellent "My damned shit") and drummer Walter Martino. Afterwards the band will change its name in Goblin recording its breakthrough record bestseller: the soundtrack of Profondo Rosso.

This is also why "Perché si uccidono" is the perfect musical hook-up between Cherry Five and Goblin. Some tracks where composed by Fabio Frizzi, a famous composer of thriller and horror scores, one alone namely "Kalì", and the other four, "Epopea", "Ammoniaca", "Epopea (Reprise)" and "Edda" (sung by the Italian actress Edda dell'Orso) together with the musicians that soon will call themselves Goblin: Simonetti, Morante, Pignatelli and Martino.

Willy Brezza has composed the remaining instrumental five tracks: "My damned shit", with A. Pietravalle, "Dodici e un quarto", "Block", "R.I.B.", "Apotheke" and "Distrazioni". An essential and rare record for Goblin lovers!

Nothing much to say about this one, Alphataurus, by sure one of the
ten best Italian prog records of all times. Alpahataurus is a
masterpiece, so well crafted and played that it seems impossible
that's been made by a group of unknowns. The singer Bavaro has a very
original voice, keyboard player Pietro Pellegrini plays with
competence and no self-indulgence, guitar-playing of Guido Wasserman
is well cared and the rhythm section of Oliva and Santandrea creates a
powerful background. The album includes five long compositions of
which Peccato d'orgoglio and La mente vola are the best, the latter
featuring a nice moog intro and a stunning vibes solo.
LP reissue in triple gatefold sleeve as the original album, with sound
taken the master tapes.

ANGEL DUST PSYCHEDELIA is a "100% killers, no fillers" compilation featuring obscure and unknown 45s / unreleased acetates from the US, most of them released on private labels. Many local underground bands of the late 1960s-early 1970s lacked the money and/or material needed to make a full-length album, and would put out a self-released 45 instead. Record collectors and writers have been slow to understand this treasure of vintage private press singles, with music that is every bit as good as hallowed underground LPs like Mystic Siva or Boa. 14 tracks including the monster acid-punker "Time gone to waste" by Local Traffic, post-Stereo Shoestring band Red House with an unreleased track, the mega rare acetate by Matchbox from Houston, tremendous acid-psych by Dick St John and Ragweed Patch, raw hard-rock by Masque and Zoo and more. The perfect companion to those legendary 80s psych comps like Brain Shadows, Acid Dreams, Endless Journey. Remastered sound for a stunning in-your-face heavy guitar experience.
