Lip Led Scream is the 2nd studio album by Incirrina . It features 10 songs which were written during a painful period for all of us - personally and globally speaking - and at the same time in a state of rapture. Our lips felt tightly closed. We wanted to scream, to turn scream into expression not just as a way out but as a way to understand. To react against but also to respond to a feeling of internal chaos, helplessness and fear of a world collapsing outside. Solitude, violence, despair, social injustice, biopolitics, but also love, humaneness and coming of age are the main themes of the album.

"Statues & Ornaments" shows a slight shift in direction for Silent Runners. Featuring a heavier emphasis on post-punk influences and more drum driven songs, without compromising the iconic mix of synths, guitars and deep vocals the band became known for.
The album title refers to the ideas and ideologies we as a society put on a pedestal. The same ones that also lead us to rising inequality, climate crisis and mass extinction. It speaks of our inability to explore hopeful new alternatives, while revering the nostalgic embrace of the old ways.

"Statues & Ornaments" features eleven new tracks. Each purchase of the album includes two exclusive bonus tracks, for a total of thirteen new Silent Runners songs. The CD will include all tracks, while full digital downloads are available for vinyl and digital buyers.

"Statues & Ornaments" was recorded in Volver Studio (NL), mixed by Ben Greenberg (USA - Black Marble, Second Still, Soft Kill, et al.) and mastered by Pete Maher (UK - U2, The Killers, Maximo Park, et al.).

You can call this album “Immortal” or “I’m mortal”, the idea of the title (Im)mortal is that both ways apply, there is no right or wrong way. Since I was a kid, I always struggled with the concept of mortality, not as a body, but as a person, as an artist. Once I started studying the lives of long gone artists I realized they were still alive, through their art. I believe art transcends human life. This album touches that, and many emotions that I’ve felt throughout the past year (and really, ever in my human life). This is me, uncensored. Me sad, me happy, me angry, me in love, me losing hope, me gaining hope, the many parts of me, as a human being, as an artist, every part that hopes to live through my art, and past my human body. And per usual, I want you to dance with me, dance until you drop, babes!

These songs are the cries of our souls staring into the Abyss. The desperation, the frustration, the will not to break under extreme circumstances, but also the love, the hope to get soon back to a life we can look forward to. The theme "L’oubli des origines" appeared quite quickly during the creation process of my second opus, but this concept was only a draft, an aesthetically appealing formula to the ear. "L’oubli des origines"... It sounded good! I was holding something! I dedicate "L’oubli des origines" to my son Léonard. To all these biracial human beings who will change the course of the days. The day will come when, inevitably, our memory will fail as we have traveled. The initial position will have gradually dissipated over time. From generation to generation, our bodies will have become intertwined to such an extent that our origins will form a single living and burning core. In a few hundred years (let's be patient), we will have forgotten the precise place of the primitive and biological anchoring of the Embryo. The blood which will flow then in our veins will henceforth be the origins of life. No more flag nous aurons besoin! Your origins will be mine and mine will be yours. Let's share! Love you all!

Conceived when hospitalised, songwriter and producer Ian Messenger wrote and produced a prolific forty-odd dark-minded songs the following year, of which ten were chosen for “Hollows”. Depressive themes of gloom and emptiness pervade the album but there is also a triumph against the darkness, a fist-waving into the void, and intimacy along with detachment.
