"Statues & Ornaments" shows a slight shift in direction for Silent Runners. Featuring a heavier emphasis on post-punk influences and more drum driven songs, without compromising the iconic mix of synths, guitars and deep vocals the band became known for.
The album title refers to the ideas and ideologies we as a society put on a pedestal. The same ones that also lead us to rising inequality, climate crisis and mass extinction. It speaks of our inability to explore hopeful new alternatives, while revering the nostalgic embrace of the old ways.

"Statues & Ornaments" features eleven new tracks. Each purchase of the album includes two exclusive bonus tracks, for a total of thirteen new Silent Runners songs. The CD will include all tracks, while full digital downloads are available for vinyl and digital buyers.

"Statues & Ornaments" was recorded in Volver Studio (NL), mixed by Ben Greenberg (USA - Black Marble, Second Still, Soft Kill, et al.) and mastered by Pete Maher (UK - U2, The Killers, Maximo Park, et al.).

Once I started studying the lives of long gone artists I realized they were still alive, through their art. I believe art transcends human life. This album touches that, and many emotions that I’ve felt throughout the past year (and really, ever in my human life). This is me, uncensored. Me sad, me happy, me angry, me in love, me losing hope, me gaining hope, the many parts of me, as a human being, as an artist, every part that hopes to live through my art, and past my human body. Having spent almost a year producing their new material, Greek dark wave band Grey Gallows have joined forces with the German label Cold Transmission Music, in order to release their brand new third album under the title ‘’The Garden of Lies’’. This time Grey Gallows have collaborated with Nick (TheMute) Chalntoupis, sound designer and mastering engineer at SoundCave Studios, aiming to create a dark ‘80s and 90s sound, which represents their aesthetics on dark music in the best way. Special guest is Cleopatra Kaido, singer and front woman of the dark electro band Meat Injection, whose voice blends perfectly with colder tunes in one song. Finally, the lyrics of the album are dealing with the pain of human existence, as it can be seen through love, life and death.
