Adding to the weight of this series, the accompanying artwork is being created by Boris Tellegen, aka legendary graffiti artist Delta who first began designing sleeves with Secret Life Of Machines. Since then he created many works for labels including Delsin.

It was through the preparation of this re-issue Steve found out now 25 years later they had shortened the track by four minutes back then for some reason. Finnish deep techno maestro Kaspiann makes his Mantis debut with four densely packed depth charges of dancefloor meditation. The Helsinki-based artist has been entrenched in the city's underground scene for a long time, organising official and unofficial parties, DJing prolifically and performing live. Since establishing his VALA label in 2021 via a split release with regular collaborator Multicast Dynamics, his sound has refined towards an elegant, heads-down sound which is represented perfectly on this four-track excursion. From the even-tempered mantra of 'Satakieli' to the aqueous, lightly dubbed electro of 'Tuiskussa Langennut', the warm after hours synth bath of 'Havinavalssi' and the pensive percussive of 'Solina', Kaspiann demonstrates a keen balance between richly layered detail and an overall subtlety - heavyweight music that feels light on the ears.

Limited 10 year anniversary repress with black/white artwork. In May 2014, Icelandic producer Yagya released his fifth album, Sleepygirls, across three slabs of vinyl on Dutch label Delsin. It's a deep, spacious and dubbed out affair that stays locked at a pleasingly sedentary tempo throughout. Since 2002 Yagya has been crafting lush electronic albums and always manages to find pure bliss and beauty and his simple, nature inspired soundscapes. "I wanted to create an album that's atmospheric, repetitive, and easy to listen to over and over again," says the man himself. "Something that works well in the background (e.g. when concentrating on work), as well as up close in a big sound system. I also wanted to learn how to make my music sound better than before, since I'm a huge sound-nerd, so that was a part of the goal for me personally." The album is a fine fusion of tropes from Yagya's earlier albums, features jazz instrumentalists that improvise beautiful melodies over monotonic, almost drone-like, techno beats and also uses live recordings of Japanese vocals, saxophone and guitar to counter the repetitiveness of the rhythms. Right from the rolling bliss of the opener, you're suspended in a womb like pillow of sound that is soft, warm and serenely beautiful. As tracks roll on, the pace stays the same but themes vary from upright and summery to more elongated and insular. This is natural, organic dub that is a delight and a pleasure to listen to. The vinyl versions of each track have been specially mixed with random LFOs, sonic quirks and unique fingerprints making them the subtly different to the CD version, but overall this is a brain soothing and mind melting album that can soundtrack lazy days, long summer afternoons and warm winter evenings in equal style.

Lemna adopts a considered, patient approach to her music practice, creating interlocking rhythms which take cues from Autonomic fragmentation as much as techno hypnosis, but it's the spatial pressure and textural sound design which makes her music truly fly. Taking predawn walks in woods at the foot of the mountain she calls home, she drew inspiration from five different organisms within the vibrant ecosystem around her to create a collection of tracks she aptly refers to as 'Nocturnal Assembly'.

Dutch producer nthng returns to Delsin with another four pieces of melodic, ambient-spirited techno following his 2017 label debut Turn To Gaia. Sub-Sonar opens with the beatless, melancholic reflection of 'Looking Outside' before drifting into the submersion chamber pulse of 'Liberate Truth'. Guided by the hypnotic allure of dub techno, the track follows a linear path through spacious chord drops and understated drum jack. Following a similar rhythmic tract, 'Sub-Sonar' offers up a cloudy, sombre beatdown shot through with winsome sine wave blips. As a surprise parting shot, '1 2 Butterfly' shakes up the scene with a crooked breakbeat treatment which cuts an angular path through the hazy atmospheric tones nthng has made his own. Just mention 'Terrace' in a techno environment and soon someone else will shout "pioneer!" As Florence, Terrace and (half of) Acid Junkies, Brabant-based producer Stefan Robbers was at the flying centre of Dutch techno in the early 1990s. Perks is Robbers' fifth EP for Delsin in a relatively short time. On the one hand, it contains his signature sound: melancholic melodies and complex drum patterns wrapped in outstanding production; on the other, Perks surprises on many fronts. For starters, the overall vibe is a lot more sombre, the chosen route much more experimental. Take 'Model A', a dreamy, 12 minute-long meandering epic that nods to the kraut-infused electronica of Tangerine Dream and Cluster but at the same time proudly carries the techno DNA. A fascinating return of a true pioneer.

Delsin turns its attention to the archives of one of the great early pioneers of Dutch techno - Eevo Lute Muzique. The label was founded in 1991 by Wladimir Manshanden and Stefan Robbers (who was already recording seminal early techno records as Terrace for Djax-Up-Beats). Channeling the inspiration of the Detroit originators and mixing it up with their own synth pop and new wave influences, Manshanden and Robbers (adopting the Florence alias) forged a bold aesthetic with Eevo Lute, both musically and visually. This was an early iteration of techno as listening music, with an emphasis on expression and narrative over dancefloor functionality, helped in no small part by Manshanden's striking poetry. This double set of remastered, reissued tracks gathers together the earliest Florence and Wladimir M. material, largely recorded between 1991 and 1994, across five discs - the definitive document of a treasured piece of Dutch techno history. Returning to his home base, Rotterdam based electro-techno mainstay Conforce presents a heavy pack of angular, experimental approaches on his latest offering into the Delsin databank. Boris Bunnik's accomplished machine language has traversed deep and dubby soundscapes with punchy, club-focused fare alike, since 2010's Grace EP he has found a regular home on Delsin and it's always exciting to see what he comes up with next. Where Conforce has commonly housed Bunnik's more melancholic, introspective work, the sound palette on Sins Of Synthesis is more tipped towards darker dimensions. The shadow of braindance looms large, guiding the music towards twitchy pattern manipulation, alien textural design and dissonant harmonics. Bunnik's signature sense of melody can still be detected around the edges, from the distant, hazy pads of 'Charlatan' to the lingering chimes of 'Fragile', but this is a pointed new direction for Conforce and it's leading somewhere very interesting...
