Edged Circle Productions is proud to present Sign of Evil’s highly anticipated debut album, Psychodelic Death on vinyl format.

And now it's here, bearing the continuing-the-tale title of Psychodelic Death. Witchfucker's joined by new drummer Thoth, and the duo's chemistry is immediate and mesmerizing. Everything about its short-length predecessor is not only taken up a notch, it's nearly maximized to overkill-type levels, but that's the only kind of madness for Sign OF Evil! More chorus pedal on everything, more guitar solos everywhere, more anthems and more hypnosis and more Evil and more Argh!!! In fact, that chorus-pedal abuse puts Psychodelic Death in a realm almost removed from metal and into old deathrock - so sinister yet also so sexy. But rest assured that the duo have their noses planted deeply in an ancient ugliness redolent of early Bathory, Venom, Warfare, and even the Plasmatics: Witchfucker's now got two vocal styles warring with each other - one a thirsty 'n' miserable blackrasp, the other a sewer vomit warped by a harmonizer ala very early Carcass, Impetigo, or Carnage - and Thoth's snare sound is straight outta Sarcofago's Inri. The cultest metal album of the year? YOU Fucking BET!

Highly anticipated debut album from Phantom Fire! It was but May 2021 when a brand-new entity burst from Bergen, Norway, bearing the all-too-apropos moniker Phantom Fire. With members hailing from such bands as Gaahls Wyrd and Krakow, the duo surprisingly went a different route with their debut EP, Return of the Goat. Hard-rocking, hard-charging, reeking of rust and diesel, Phantom Fire proved they were their own band removed from any sort of lineal references. Better yet, perhaps, they were just getting started and already promised a debut full-length... That debut album is finally here: The Bust of Beelzebub! Flexing the same chops and some new ones, Phantom Fire's first full-length salaciously spans pitch-black speed metal and moody epic metal alike, all of it in (evil) obeisance to timeless Heavy Metal magic. Years ahead of the game, The Bust of Beelzebub bears an ageless wisdom across it's succinct seven-song/29-minute runtime, like Aura Noir jamming out on some Cirith Ungol covers or early Omen getting turned onto the Swedish Cranium! Nevertheless, some interesting twists crop up in the most unselfconscious ways, like the spattering of spiralling psychedelic guitar or solemn Viking-dirge acoustics, altogether making for a wild ride across the hinterlands of the frozen Norwegian tundra...all before it's lit afire! With stout and richly analogue recording courtesy of Iver Sandøy (Enslaved) at Solslottet Studio in Bergen and deliciously warped cover art by Nifelheim's Hellbutcher, Phantom Fire's The Bust of Beelzebub is an exceptionally unique take on the traditional.

Phantom Fire’s striking debut EP, Return of the Goat, on 7" vinyl! A brand-new entity hailing from Bergen, Norway. Hard-rocking, hard-charging, reeking of rust and diesel, here do Phantom Fire kick out two jams of lithe 'n' lethal metal blackened to a crisp. And while so many nowadays "retro" bands head straight to the party, Phantom Fire are intent on ruining that party, spreading black leathery wings wide and ominously. A unique take on the traditional, Return of the Goat is a deadly auspicious first start, and the title track's a tasty preview of Phantom Fire's forthcoming debut album, The Bust of Beelzebub, via Edged Circle. You've been warned!

TO THE DOG’s self-titled debut EP. A whirlwind of crust metal dirtiness from the North Americas. Hailing from the frozen wastes of Wisconsin, TO THE Dogs are a juggernaut of classic crust. The power-trio made their public debut in December 2020 with a digitally-released three-song demo, which is now being released as their debut EP and thusly titled To the Dogs. Charging hard, charging free, TO THE Dogs have Motorcharge on lock, but also nod to classic blackthrash (think early Aura Noir) and the punkiest speed metal (think classic Warfare). Theirs is a sound that's unapologetically old-style, but refreshingly honest in its approach - not to mention addicting! Indeed, across the nine short/sharp/shocked minutes of To the Dogs, TO THE Dogs roam the post-apocalyptic wasteland on motorcycles made exclusively of spikes and chains, and then proceed to burn through that wasteland and get the fuck out. Hitch a ride now or DIE!

Staying true to their sound whilst pushing their own limits, here on Fatal Visions do Inculter exhibit more finesse and flair, more magick and mastery. If Persisting Devolution leaned more on the raw side - understandably so, given the band's youth at the time - then the self-produced Fatal Visions sees the now-quartet getting to the heart of their sound and, with mastering by Enslaved's Herbrand Larsen, leaving a more powerful and timeless document for the ages. That expansion to a four-piece is immediately felt; the attack is tighter and more urgent, the dual-riff interplay dazzling with darkness and ever-twisting memorability. Indeed, these Fatal Visions cut quickly and sharply, their locked-in slash 'n' surge sounding almost criminally accomplished. No more red-eyed and bleeding-raw belligerence here: rather, a spiked landscape of classic heavy metal majesty rendered wild and wondrous. If anything, one could say Inculter are taking cues from cult-institution forebears Aura Noir but accelerating up the evolutionary chain far quicker...or simply that Fatal Visions is THE Now Sound of Inculter.
