MC's Amxone the Crooked Tooth Bastard (aka Al Cohol) and Vice the Antihero (aka D.Rugs) are your loyal narrators and drunk drivers for the duration of this psychedelic hip hop trip. I'm reminded of Cypress Hill mixed with The Furry Freak Brothers and a smidgen of Cheech & Chong. Effin love this ish!!!!

B.H.P. (Black Hole Posse) is a legendary Denver, Colorado based rap group which consists of AK Love and O.G. Glide. This is there album titled, "Eastbound". The production on Eastbound is superior to most albums from the late 1990's. The "Nightfall" introduction is reminiscent of a Sade sound. Other songs like "The Block", "Scrilla", "Ride With Me" and "Niggas Be Hatin'" are solid hardcore gangster tales over laid back G-Funk Rhythms. Then there's tracks with versatile lyricism over being conveyed over dark and hard hitting gangster funk beats such as "Lyrical Twist", "Is There A Place", and "Valley Of Death". Let's not forget the mob style tale song's that even the women can get with like "Ballin'" and "Lover & Friend". There's also a club banger in "All Nite". This album is full of pure dopeness for you eardrums! We highly recommend this album to all Hip Hop enthusiasts.

“Teal” is a collaborative project between 3 artists hailing from the sunny South of England. This album is made up of Slim & Ella Mae, who both recently featured on Gilles Peterson's latest compilation on Brownswood Recordings, and Benaddict who just dropped his debut LP ‘Garden Of England’ on YoGoCop Records. Together the trio has combined their talents and put together this soulful, jazz tinged, 12 track LP.

Slim laces the album with his signature style of laid back, jazzy production, while Benaddict & Ella Mae provide us with humble, heartfelt and thought provoking lyrics and vocals throughout. Blabberastic Semantics is a collaboration album between BlabberMouf and Sneadr. Sneadr is an excellent producer and Blabber has known classics albums to his name. This album just kinda happened right place right time type music! 16 on the spot sessions resulting in 16 bangers. Both go way back, Sneadr was a B-boy who hung out with the crew (tipb, Hvz) that Blab was in and started to make beats around that time.

Thats 10 years ago today and the guys have both developed into full blown hip hop artists with various projects to their names. It was always meant to happen that this album would get made it was just the matter of when.

"Blu & Nottz’s epic two-part saga officially reaches its final form with ‘Gods In The Spirit, Titans In The Flesh,’ which combines the previously released EPs into a single project that upgrades everything about the original.

There is a care and attention to detail to this project that goes well beyond a standard reissue that clumps the previous projects together. ‘GITS, TITF’ is a complete upgrade from the ground up with stunning new artwork by Dan Lish, remixed and remastered audio (handled by Carl Roe and D-Sane, respectively), and a reimagined tracklist featuring an ethereal new closing track (“Yesterday” feat. Sene & Elisa Meri).

All of these fine touches really make the project a treasure for diehard fans, newcomers, and collectors alike. Blu personally wanted to restructure the tracklist because he believes it flows better than before, a sentiment that hits immediately when “Atlantis” kicks things off. And then there’s the one-two punch of hearing “End Of The World” (feat. Rashad) and “Heaven on Earth” back to back, which reveals the true nuances of these songs.

“Being some of my greatest material to date and the strongest lyrical follow-up I’ve constructed since ‘Below The Heavens,’” Blu says, “I feel more than honored to have both EPs officially commemorated as an LP to stand out amongst a band of classic full lengths produced by Nottz, like Asher Roth, Kardinal Offishall, Rapper Big Pooh and so on.”

For Nottz, it’s all about showcasing the hypothetical Hip-Hop beast dwelling beneath the surface of the previously released EPs. “Gods in the Spirit was the beginning—an eye opener to the madness that me and Blu were about to unleash,” he says, “While Titans in the Flesh unleashed the wrath.”

“With both EPs now combined, it’s a wrap—the kraken has officially been released with reckless abandon,” Nottz adds.

“Nostalgic, soulful and, of course, boogie-woogie.” That’s how Belgian DJ producer Boogie Belgique (aka Oswald Cromheecke) describes the enticing combination of styles and sources from different decades that make up his music. Taking vintage inspirations, most notably from swing and jazz eras, and merging them with contemporary beats and textures is the young producer’s forte. This is pleasingly evident on Volta, the latest Boogie Belgique album for the Cold Busted label. “Jungle Law” gives a glimpse into Boogie Belgique’s sonic palette. Tough hip hop beats and funky live guitar follow an intro of jungle ambience as a trumpet presents the melody. Soon some swingy big band jazz enters the song in an almost ghostly manner, while the insistent beat keeps the dance floor moving. Album opener “Go Slow” shows a different side to the coin giving the listener an uptempo broken beat rhythm, some bouncy bass guitar, snippets of string loops, and a lovely, forlorn vocal line that echoes the past. It’s a beautiful concoction, and Boogie Belgique delivers on many aspects of this style throughout his eleven track album. Volta is a satisfying trip in an aural time machine.

In 1994, the Boogiemonsters stepped on the scene with their debut "Riders Of The Storm: The Underwater Album". The quartet consisting of Vex, Mondo, Myntric and Yodared, scored with a bright atmosphere throughout the entire album, pairing food for thought with laid-back productions.

Originally made in 1997 and for the first time on vinyl, Kimetic Principles is the lesser known Goodlife Cafe era's LA masterpiece album.

Although Darkleaf's roster as evolved over the years, only 3 members are featured on this project: the production duo of Jahli & Longevity (Lodge Infinite) and MC Kemit Qutob.

Darkleaf was once part of the Unity Committee supergroup with Jurassic 5 and developed a very distinctive, raw and abstract sound.

This very limited edition of 150 copies includes an insert with artwork by Cawzaone and a interview with Longevity about the album.
