Leslie Winer is an artist and poet now based in France where she handles the estate of luminary beat poet Herbert Huncke (head to her Bandcamp to hear some readings set to John Fahey loops….). Her '93 debut LPWitch(featuring Jah Wobble and Karl Bonnie of Renegade Soundwave - amongst others) attracted renewed attention after a re-release on Superior Viaduct in 2014. It's an LP that Jay Glass Dubs holds close to his heart, that's somehow influenced his sound over a distance of years. She's also released albums on Philip Marshall's The Tapeworm and Monotype Records (with CM von Hausswolff) and worked with everyone from Sinead O Connor, Jon Hassel, Holger Hiller and Diamond Version with a collaboration with Christopher Chaplin about to emerge via Fabrique Records in early 2018.
