The soundtrack LP for 2017's controversial documentary on the "Kings Of Punk." Every single member, living or dead, finally has their say, and there's plenty of lip to go around. Live & studio recordings of tracks from PI's entire 40-year history are intercut with choice dialog from the film. Sort of like a greatest hits, kinda. Newly remastered for release on TKO, delivering superior sound to previously available versions. Includes color poster.

After contending with nearly a full year of production delays, TKO Records could not be more delighted to bring back this classic material. This new reissue is without a doubt the ultimate version of this title. Between the scorching new mastering job, the expanded artwork and addition of the new poster that maps out all the records featured in the front cover photograph... it doesn't matter if you've already got ALL other versions of this LP, if you're a record collector worthy of the album title, you're gonna need this one."Despite all rumors and confusion, Poison Idea rages with rapid-fire, foaming bites of outrageous energy. This is what you’ve been waiting for. This band deals out the goods with frenetic, hammering madness and rabid intensity thrash-style compositions."—Pushead, MaximumRockn'roll - October, 1984. Includes a poster.

This infamous collection of songs from Poison Idea EPs released between War All The Time and Feel The Darknessfinally gets full TKO reissue treatment it deserves. Now after many months of production delay's, TKO is proud to bring back this essential material from one of Hardcore Punk's all-time legendary bands. "Originally released as a cassette with this title in ’88, it compiled both the Filthkick and Getting the Fear EPs. All of this was further released on the widely available Ian MacKaye 12″...these are some of the best Poison Idea songs ever. No, for real. So give it to your little cousins, buy them underage booze, and let them loose to spread hate and venom on a world that truly deserves it. God bless Pig. God bless Slayer Hippy. Amen."—Rotten Ron

Among the impressive discography by Portland, OR Hardcore Punk forerunners Poison Idea, their 1986 debut LP Kings Of Punk is considered one of the most important entries. Originally released on the Pusmort label owned and operated by legendary visual artist Brian “Pushead” Schroeder (Misfits, Metallica), Kings Of Punk introduced Poison Idea to a wide audience than their previously the self-released and distributed releases on Fatal Erection, the record label co-run by their guitarist Tom “Pig Champion” Roberts. Taking full advantage of the situation, Poison Idea made sure their first full-length release would make an impact on the American Hardcore Punk scene. From the grisly, full-color cover image of the band’s name carved into the chest of vocalist Jerry A. Lang to the blistering music contained within, Kings Of Punk was convincing enough to earn Poison Idea the attention that helped spread their legend and kicked off the band's most prolific period: the late 80s - early 90s. Out-of-print since TKO’s ephemera-packed “Portland Edition” version from the summer of 2022, Kings Of Punk now returns as the third installment in TKO’s Poison Idea Remasters series. This new edition finds all eleven tracks shined up while still retaining the feral bite of the original, proving almost forty years since its release, Kings Of Punk will forever be evidence enough for Poison Idea to claim their self-appointed throne.

The first entry in the new Poison Idea 2024 Remasters series. Feel The Darkness was widely hailed as an immediate classic upon its original release, and its status as one of the greatest Punk albums of all time has endured to the present day. This is evident from its regular and frequent inclusion in music press-published “Greatest Punk Albums Of All Time” lists. Among diehard P.I. fans, this album is rivaled only by Kings Of Punk as the crown jewel of of the band's discography. Painstakingly remixed and remastered by Larry Crane, this new version is true to the spirit of the original album, preserving its authenticity in every way possible.

Japan's hardcore punk pioneers G.I.S.M. were a band whose influence reached the remotest corners of underground music the world over, shaping the look, sound, and approach of generations of punk, hardcore, metal, and other extreme music acts for the last 40 years. Chief among their early Western champions was America’s own hardcore punk trailblazers, Poison Idea. If the metal/punk sound of Poison Idea's mid-to-late era recordings wasn’t evidence enough of this influence, look no further than the G.I.S.M. logo proudly adorning Jerry A’s leather vest on the back of 1987's War All The Time. Upon learning of G.I.S.M.’s visionary frontman and creative architect Sakevi YOKOYAMA's death on August 24th, 2023, Poison Idea and TKO felt compelled to honor the monumental legacy left in the wake of this loss, and we are now proud to present the result with Poison Idea's Tribute To G.I.S.M. 7” EP. Collecting both G.I.S.M. covers from P.I.'s 1993 We Must Burn sessions for the first time ever, every facet of this EP is a carefully crafted ode to the inimitable and uncompromising spirit of Sakevi and G.I.S.M. “Endless Blockades For The Pussyfooter” appears as a previously unreleased mix that differs from the version featured on We Must Burn, while “Death, Agonies & Screams” is the same version that appears on Poison Idea's posthumous Religion & Politics EP. Rounding out the track list is a newly composed noise piece by Jerry A and Andrew Stromstad, “Pig Scream”, paying tribute to the avant garde sound of G.I.S.M.’s later material. From the artwork and layout to the recordings, Tribute To G.I.S.M. is precisely that—an earnest homage to one of punk music's most fearless and singular voices, and to the inarticulable immense, immortal legacy of Sakevi Yokoyama.
