It is the definition of a favorite band that accompanies, stays, also likes to be quiet sometimes, to then gently break your heart with new music and new lyrics when the time comes, while at the same time telling you It goes on. Somehow. Must. whispers in your ear. Musically, "Come On, Cat" is energetic, melodic emo-punk that has been in its own league in Germany since the band was formed in 2003. Captain Planet will not climb the German punk Olympus in this country with their fifth album. And that's not what they've set out to do. This band is with itself, is not a scene figure. And yet: Few bands cause such excitement and enthusiasm among their friends (don "t say fans) when something new happens.

Lobsterbomb announce the release of their debut album "Look Out" for 21st July 2023 via Duchess Box Records. Formed in Berlin, via an instagram notice board "We Formed A Band" set up by the band Gurr, Lobsterbomb had no idea at the time it would lead to them signing to the label that discovered Gurr, Duchess Box Records. The Trio Nico Rosch, Vik Chi and Crayon Jones all immigrated to Berlin looking for the same escape and lust from the places they had left behind. After connecting with eachother during the pandemic of 2020 they started writing songs drawing on their environment, fears and frustrations of the time but had an desire for seizing the moment and making the world their own, a feeling they still have today.. "I have a bit of an obsession with a band from Germany called Lobsterbomb, I think they are magnificent" says legendary Duran Duran frontman Simon Le Bon on his American radio show on Sirius XM.

When you hear of someone in the punk scene putting out solo material, you expect them to pull out the acoustic guitar and channel their softer side. With Tino Valpa it couldn’t be more the opposite. New Hampshire’s one-man powerhouse is here with his first full-length solo album Live Or Be Lived All Over. Tino tackles all duties: guitar, bass, drums and vocals. From the get-go this record is heavier, harder & better structured than its predecessors. Tino’s previous releases in 2010 & 11 were two 7” EPs of blazing old-school hardcore punk with few songs clocking in over the 30 second mark. Belgian punk innovators Raxola formed in 1977, the name denoting Revolution Axis Opens Lights Ahead, one of only three Belgian punk acts to record an album in the early days. Guitarist/vocalist Yves Kengen, alias Yke, launched the trio with bassist Louis Hubeau and drummer Guy Van Snick, overlapping with the time that Kengen played bass in Bastard with Brian James, who returned to the UK to join London SS and ultimately, The Damned. Raxola’s self-titled debut is a furious, melodic, and intelligent blast of first-waveEuro-punk, a long sought-after classic whose originals go for silly money, now fully ripe for rediscovery.

Lesser-known punk band Cyanide formed in the northern cathedral city of York in 1976, the four lads based at the Old Priory Youth Club. After cutting a couple of demos soon after their formation, in time the band’s reputation was such that they were playing the Roxy in London and during their rapid ascent, the quartet managed to score a contract with major label Pye for their self-titled debut album, recorded in December 1976 and produced by Ron O’Shea, who ironically got his start with orchestral easy listening. A fun set of tongue-in-cheek first-wave punk originals, the album also includes a spirited cover version of The Who’s ‘I’m A Boy.’

Re-release of legendary punk-rock / Skate-punk band Atlas Losing GRIP's debut album, pressed on yellow vinyl, limited to 200 copies. Hand numbered and signed by the band members! In 2005, when the melodic punk-scene in Sweden was almost completely dead, they appeared. Atlas Losing Grip rose from the ashes and their debut-album "Shut the World Out" took them touring all around Europe. Satanic Surfers' lead singer and frontman Rodrigo Alfaro appeared as a guest vocalist on the debut-album, and was later on recruited in 2008.

Praise is made up of members Andy Norton, Anthony Dye, Austin Stemper, Chris Bavaria, and Daniel Fang, who have made themselves familiar by their playing in bands like Turnstile, Have Heart, Mindset, Angel Du$t, and many others. Following an LP and a 12” EP that explored their deep passion for classic melodic hardcore, All In A Dream is the band’s most skillful and creative release yet, reaching back to the era of Revolution Summer bands while always looking forward. Mindfield is a hardcore/metal crossover band from Jacksonville, FL, and are heavily influenced by bands like Merauder, Black Breath, and Sepultura. They released their first EP, Perpetual Suffering, followed by tour dates with ALL OUT WAR and Incited. In the summer of 2018, they released their sophomore EP, Void Of Illuminance, featuring the title track with guest vocals from Jon Whittle of Vatican. Since then, they have embarked on tours with Hoods, Lowered A.D., and BY Force, as well as appeared on a handful of different fests around the country.
