Albinö Rhino are a psychedelic doom rock trio from Helsinki, Finland. The band has released 2 albums & various EPs over the years. They recorded this amazing hand numbered 35min continuous piece after jamming it at the practice room mostly improvised for years, in between the heavier pieces that Albinö Rhino is known for and jumped to the studio when the arrangement felt right. One of the parts is written just one day before entering the beautiful Suomenlinnan Studio with the talented sound wizard Ilari Larjosto. The album was recorded live in one day with some additional overdubs recorded later at Helsinki Music Studio, where the album was also mixed. The opus was mastered at Virtalähde Mastering. Dr Space, Olli Laamanen & Mikko Heikinpoika added their magic when the core was built. The piece moves from acoustic spacey music to heavy desert rock and doom with ease and grace and has an amazing flow to create one hell of a good psychedelic ride-

DSD was founded in the beginning of the Earth year 2011 in Oulu, Finland, on band members’ mutual love for 60’s and 70’s kraut, prog and psychedelic rock. This is the 6th full length album (4th on Space Rock Productions) by the Finnish Space Rock masters from the north! It features 6 high energy space rockers, originally released digitally in April 2023 but now it appears on Vinyl. It features several special guests including Dr Space from Øresund Space Collective. The album opens with the high energy track ‘Spaced and Confused’, with the classic DSD sound and vibe. ‘Beyond the Cosmic Wall’ has a bit of a Kingston Wall vibe and quite a psychedelic mix. ‘Void Oscillations’ is a very spacey and floating number. ‘Indigo Blue’ starts side B with a more mellow vibe for the first 3 mins and then rocks into a cool spaced out jam. ‘Matkalainen’ is sung in Finnish and features some nice flute playing on this great track. The album ends with ‘Nymphaea Tetragona (Forever Floating)’ a more relaxed track, but the end has this sort of heavy bluesy stoner vibe. Cool way to end the album. Another classic space rock record.

Doctors of Space is a new duo formed by Dr Space (Øresund Space Collective, Black Moon Circle, Aural Hallucinations) and Dr Martin Weaver (Wicked Lady, Dark). The duo, synthesizers & guitars, create a unique mixture of space rock and psychedelic music. The tracks are either created across the internet or at Martin’s home studio, where the group meets once a month to make new music. This is their first full length release. They have already released one 7” (self-release) and a digital only collection on Bandcamp. 'Journey to Encaladus' (see video on Bandcamp) is a heavy rocker with some incidinary guitar work backed up by space drums. Martin programmed the drums and plays the bass as well on this one. 'froth' is a more laid back and spacey track with acoustic guitar. 'Rip Snorter' is something totally different with intense electronics and guitars. 'Into the Oort Cloud' was an amazing space jam that they had. There are two bonus tracks on the CD, one is more laid back & features their friend Hasse on bass & the other is another of the band's favourite jams they have had early 2020.

Øresund Space Collective (øsc), formed in 2004, is a totally improvising Scandinavian space rock band and has been releasing albums since 2006. The band has played concerts & festivals all over Europe. Their music is quite diverse and influenced by the ever-changing line up in the collective. “Everyone Is Evil” is the Band’s 40th release. This session took place in Sept. 2022 and collected up a number of top musicians to create several albums of progressive, psychedelic, world music and space rock! The track “Everyone is Evil” is an epic 64min track that takes the listener on an intense journey through different universes and a bit of CAN, Magma and other bands but in their own unique way. “Everyone is Good” brings you down to a more calm state in this repetitive, meditative exploration into space music. The two CD bonus tracks start with a rocking one and then followed by a 29min trip to another world. Lots of musical ideas are explored during the journey. Enjoy

This album features one 62min track split over 3 LP album sides, recorded in the studio back in 2014. The same session that gave us the 'Different Creatures' and 'Visions Of...' LPs/CDs and features some of the best musicians from the Scandinavian prog rock field. This is about as Prog Rock as the band has ever been with the track taking many different musical journeys over the 3 album sides. Side D (Descent to Reality) of the vinyl contains a full length version (the CD contains an edit) that is a unique mixture of Indian raga and space music with just synthesizer, sitar, violin, bass and drums.
