Spoken View German Hip Hop Used Vinyl

Spoken View Records is a Berlin-based record label, founded in 2006 and specializing in hip hop music. It was back in 2005 when Kathleen Stülpner had a look at her circle of friends and decided that all this creativity shouldn’t be undiscovered anymore. She took the creative minds around V.Raeter, Mr. Mick, Sir Serch, Damian Davis, Aesop and Thomas Grummt and founded a group of people with the same interests. They called themselves Spoken View to describe the picture-like elements of language and the importance of visual aspects in general – music for the ears as for the eyes. The pronounced intention was to create a platform that allowed their artistic self-fulfillment, as V. Raeter coined it: »to professionalize the contacts of our youth«. Spoken View managed to show that rap from Berlin could be more than »bluff gangster-rap and jiggy bullshit«. In 2009 Morlockk Dilemma, Hiob and Sichtbeton joined the network.
