Tunnel Blanket delivers the epic-in-scope soundscapes that followers of its makers' previous recordings are accustomed to, but presents them in new lights - where once the sun shone down bright upon immediate tropes and traits, now their work is better suited to distant starlight, casting changeable shadows across vistas of inspired, ambitious amplification. This is not an album to pick through in search of bold hooks and instant melodies. It is an ever-shifting, always moving work, which seems to evolve before the listener - spidery guitar lines feeling their way forth like vines scrambling up trunks in time-lapse photography.

Originally released on 6/6/06, "Young Mountain" is the debut album from instrumentalists This Will Destroy You. While prior pressings (approximately 31+ to date) were all on Magic Bullet Records, 2018 finds the album on Dark Operative, a new company from the creative team behind Magic Bullet. In the years since their initial release, the songs of "Young Mountain" have taken on a life of their own, finding synchs in major films and film trailers ("The Purge," "The Taking Of Pellham 123," "Prom Night," etc.), major sports events (Wimbledon, Super Bowl, World Series, Formula 1 Racing, Stanley Cup Finals, World Cup, et al), and far beyond.

2xLP 180 gram Bone Vinyl.Since 2004, This Will Destroy You has been forging some of the world's most brutal, dynamic, and precariously visceral instrumental rock. In addition to a vigorous tour schedule, their celebrated discography and critically renowned soundtrack work for feature films and documentaries have earned them a sizable and fervent international following. Another Language, TWDY's fourth full length LP, marks their euphonious return from a prolonged vacuous dark period that threatened to break both the band and the members themselves. Rather than be stifled by their experience TWDY were atomized and subsequently made anew, emerging with a revived energy and reinforced sense of solidarity. As a result, Another Language captures the band at its most potent, honed, and utterly powerful form yet, displaying an edified unity and graduated sense of song-writing, tonal complexity, and studio prowess.Wallet CD printed on uncoated stock w/ copper foil and printed inner sleeve. 2xLP Gatefold jacket printed on uncoated stock w/ copper foil and printed inner sleeves. The 2xLP is available in a limited second pressing of 1,000 copies on 180g black vinyl and includes a download card for MP3s.

Pulling from a dense archive comprised of 15 years worth of demos, unreleased tracks, variations on material that later evolved into something else, unused soundtrack cues, and everything in between, This Will Destroy YOU and Dark Operative are proud to continue Variations & Rarities: 2004-2019 Vol. II, an ongoing audio series. The second installment focuses heavily on the self-titled era, giving all a previously-unseen and unheard glimpse behind the curtain at some of the early stages and ideas for songs that ultimately became the band’s most successful album to date.

The first installment features six selections of completely unheard material from roughly a three-year period in the middle of the band’s career. Whereas traditional rarity collections can feel like an archive dump (wherein the songs don’t have a discernible relation to one another in any capacity), Vol. I has been meticulously crafted to flow seamlessly from beginning to end, communicating a long-form narrative that can only be experienced in

Kitchen is the first aural glimpse into the Vespertine project, a collaborative concept wherein the entirety of Chef Jordan Kahn’s new Culver City restaurant has been custom-scored by Los Angeles’ own This Will Destroy YOU. One of seven pieces written for the building itself (and even the space around it), Kitchen is the music that diners first hear as they are greeted by Chef Kahn before dinner service begins for the evening. In composing the music for this interaction, This Will Destroy YOU’s Chris King and Jeremy Galindo sought to convey a warm, hospitable – if not reassuring – tone for listeners that may (or may not) be present elsewhere as they discover and explore the spaces in and around Vespertine’s looming architectural monolith for the remainder of their stay.

New Others Part One is the fifth studio album from This Will Destroy You. It was produced, engineered, and mixed by John Congleton, the man responsible for the sound of the band’s wildly popular sophomore S/T album of ten years ago. Now comprised of core members Jeremy Galindo and Christopher King with the addition of drummer Robi Gonzalez, New Others Part One captures the band in a familiar, but evolved ethos wherein the memorable melodic component present in their early work once again soars atop new sonic territories for the band and listener alike. Physical copies of the LP feature the artwork and photography of band member Christopher King. Inside, purchasers will find a highly unusual extra insert featuring a QR code that will certainly take the bold on a journey involving their browser, their phone, and their full capacity for the esoteric.
