Circle Jerks are an American hardcore punk band, formed in 1979 in Los Angeles, California. The group was founded by former Black Flag vocalist Keith Morris and became one of the most influential and iconic bands in the punk community. This release is a 40-year vinyl reissue of Circle Jerks; iconic debut full-length Group Sex which is considered a landmark of the punk and hardcore genre. This deluxe vinyl release includes a deluxe 20-page booklet featuring rare photos, flyers, testimonials, and behind the scene stories from iconic figures such as Mike Ness (social Distortion), Tony Hawk (Skateboarder), Shepard Fairey (Artist/Obey), and Brett Gurewitz (bad RELIGION/Epitaph Records).

London-based producer, DJ, and promoter Saoirse is back with a follow up to her critically acclaimed and hugely welcomed debut solo release on her new imprint trUst Recordings. While Black Flag, Minor Threat, and BAD Brains are the obvious mainstays, 7 Seconds were quietly crafting Walk Together Rock Together, an album that would eventually achieve this vaulted status. The seven-song collection of songs that were as catchy as they were cathartic was produced by Minor Threat frontman Ian MacKaye at D.C.’s legendary Inner Ear Studios. While the Los Angeles, New York, and D.C. post-hardcore scenes have been welldocumented, the history of Walk Together Rock Together hasn’t... until now. After releasing a deluxe Trust Records edition of 7 Seconds’ 1984 full-length The Crew in 2021, Trust Records is excited to announce that they are giving the same treatment to the Walk Together Rock Together 12” EP, which will feature a gatefold cover with an attached, 20-page, full-color booklet continuing the oral history of the band from 1984–1986, including commentary from Pushead, Ian MacKaye, Walter Schreifels (gorilla Biscuits, Quicksand), Norman Brannon (texas IS THE Reason), Milo Aukerman (descendents), Tony Hawk, Shepard Fairey, Christian Jacobs (Yo Gabba Gabba!), Fletcher Dragge (pennywise), and more. Known for their positive and progressive lyrics, 7 Seconds also became one of the first in the genre to address racism, homophobia, and sexism with songs such as “Not Just Boys Fun,” “Colourblind,” and “I Have a Dream,” which are all found on this album. The Crew also includes their hit “Young ‘Till I Die,” a staple in their set from 1984, when The Crew was released, until 2018, when the band officially disbanded. The band subsequently founded BYO (Better Youth Organization) as well. The band’s first year of existence was as a six-piece, but they played their first gig as a three-piece on New Year’s Eve 1981 at Godzilla’s nightclub. They were also part of the big BYO extravaganza “Youth Movement ’82” at the Hollywood Palladium, where 3,500 people showed up for an all-Los Angeles bill. In the summer of 1982, after recording three tracks for the first BYO record release, Someone Got Their Head Kicked In compilation, Youth Brigade set out in a big yellow school bus on an ambitious 30-city North American tour with fellow punk band Social Distortion. The now classic 1984 film Another State Of Mind chronicled the event. A premature version of Sound & Fury had been rushed together before the Another State Of Mind tour, but pressing was stopped at 800 copies as the band was not satisfied with the quality of the material and production. After about 30 shows and several breakdowns, they returned home to re-record their debut LP, Sound & Fury, with the legendary record producer Thom Wilson, keeping only four tracks from the original. Sound & Fury, the follow-up version, is now considered one of the greatest punk records of all time not just because of the songs and cultural context, but because it features the hit songs “Sink With California,” “Blown Away,” “Men In Blue (Part 1),” and “What Will The Revolution Change.” Sound & Fury has been remastered from the original analog tapes by Dave Gardner.

Volume 3 of the Trust XY recombination series again sees four unique artists channel sonic echoes from the label's past. Stenny is up first, the Italian producer whose name is synonymous with Ilian Tape's much acclaimed crossover of techno and bass music. He complements the deep pads of Versalife's 'Nova Prospekt' with a scorching bass line and rolling breaks programmed in his unmistakable style. Canadian producer and Planet Euphorique label owner D.Tiffany is a champion of complex percussions and an obvious choice to rework Alex Cortex's percussive electro anthem 'We Run Your Life'. Her take chops and warps Cortex's vocals around a twitching techno beat that's both experimental and effective. Side B has UK electro and breakbeat pioneer Clatterbox return to Trust, reshaping one of the very first Microthol tracks into modern form. At his hands 'Intertronic' turns into a bleeping and hissing, snarling and growling electro bass monster. Lastly Delsin's dub master and Trust alumni Vc-118a takes on 'Tides' by /dl/ms/, replacing the original's sparse funk with a low slung dub techno groove that serves as the foundation for perpetually cascading ebbs and flows of lush and dreamy soundwaves.

Following her outings on International Chrome, Warning and Tresor, Viikatory joins TRUST with an EP of four raw, kinetic electro bangers - at times explosive and in-your-face, at other subtle and romantic, but always shooting straight from the heart of the sun.

Mella Dee Presents Ryan, a new project from one of the UK’s most prolific electronic producers. Exploring a darker, experimental side of the mastermind behind ‘Techno Disco Tool’, the new project sees Ryan take things underground with new track ‘Static Movement’. Alongside the track, Ryan has announced his forthcoming EP Connected Experiences, a 4-track collection of essential club tools due for release on August 11 via DJ and Body Movements co-founder Saoirse’s imprint trUst. The landmark release will be the first time the label head has featured another artist's music and is testament to the direction of Mella Dee’s new musical project, Ryan.

Already doing damage in the club circuit with support from the likes of Ben UFO, Shanti Celeste, Midland and more, ‘Static Movement’ sees Ryan. go back to basics with a drum machine and analog synths, ending with an infinite groove. Speaking on the track, Ryan. explains: “Trust the process. My name is Ryan. This is a collection of music I wrote for the purpose of dancing. Those moments we can all get lost together and connect through experience. trUst is a label built on love and connection. I just want to thank Saoirse for the trust she has shown and the love she gives.”

Label boss Saoirse adds: “This is the first time I've invited another artist to release on trUst and I'm so delighted it's from my close friend the absolute don from Doncaster - Mella Dee. Tracks I've been playing in every set over the past year with Static Movement being one of my most ID'd tunes ever. Once I heard it I knew this had to be the first track released on the label from someone else. Ryan is one of the best producers I know, completely and wholly committed to the dancefloor and I'm thrilled I will be releasing the first of his new project under 'Ryan'. I had complete trust in him to deliver a solid EP.”

Real name Ryan Aitchison, Mella Dee reached international notoriety with his anthemic 2017 single ‘Techno Disco Tool’, reaching number 1 in BBC Radio 1’s Dance Music Chart as well as one of Annie Mac’s ‘Tracks of the Decade’ (and was even played during her final show on Radio 1). A year later, the Warehouse Music label head won ‘Best Breakthrough Label’ at the DJ Mag ‘Best of British’ awards and he was also named one of Mixmag’s ‘Stars of the Year’, cementing himself as one of the most sought after names in dance music. Since then Mella Dee has delivered his debut Essential Mix for the legendary BBC Radio 1 series, curated a mix for Resident Advisor’s prestigious Podcast series, performed a debut Boiler Room set to rapturous acclaim, toured North America multiple times and joined the elusive Circoloco family for a summer of shows at Dc10 and their momentous festival in Thailand. Ryan has also curated tours for his own Warehouse Music label, taking over illustrious venues all over Europe including his hometown at the infamous Doncaster Warehouse.
