The ep starts with a dancefloor house jam by Deenamic, a slightly different more classic approach to dance music than his previous releases but a winner for all DJs and dancers. It is a deep house filled with deep pads, and some subtle Rhodes licks courtesy of JM Bailon. On the same side Tryezz, delivers here a melodic future funk stomper filled with piano chords and analogue synths and stabs for this non-stop 6 min groove. On the B side Orlando Voorn, better known for his techno releases, offers here a deep house kind of jam with reversed piano loops and a subtle techno vibe with deep strings and pads for a journey into Detroit dance. Last but not least, Stephane Attias is serving a deep and melodic house cut with subtle sounds and percussions, a simple journey into space. To celebrate the 50th release of Visions Recordings, Alex and Stephane Attias present here a 3 track EP featuringSohan Wilson on keyboards. Starting on the A side with a long deep slow disco vibe and a shifting bass line, “In My Mind” will take you on a journey, a repetitive groove, a long jam that simply celebrates the essence of Visions Recordings with a soulful vibe. On the B side we have “Overtones” a crazy dancefloor jam with a simple beat based on a kik drum and some percussions. The key to the track lies in the sick bass line and haunting piano riff that builds to a peak reaching a higher state of moody funkyness. Sohan Wilson is a young composer and arranger keyboard player from Switzerland. Half of duo Keys of Lynx, Sohan sent us his album almost 2 years ago and we were totally impressed with the quality and the soulful vibe. He asked us if we were interested in releasing it and we said yes.

For this first album the inspiration came from the 70’s and the 80’s with a touch of contemporary soul and jazz. The A side holds 4 tracks entirely recorded with musicians for a total acoustic and organic experience like « in the old days « while the B side is made with Beats and a more electronic soulful approach. This album tells a story, almost like a movie and thats why its a complete album to listen from beginning to end and enjoy the full experience of Sohan Wilson first solo Long player. Featuring the amazing voices from Dwight Trible and Brian Owens this album sounds already like a future classic that you want a listen over and over again.

Alex Attias, El Mustang Project is back with a new album. This second opus features full of new collaborations with on vocals Cecilia Stalin, Rouhangeze and Desney Bailey. Alex worked as well with the keyboardist and instrumentalist genuises Sohan Wilson and Hajime Yoshizawa and with Saxophonist friend Arthur Donnot and Alina Bzhezhinska on Harp. This Album has been made during a two years period between 2019 and 2021. This is a reflection of the various musical styles Alex was listening at home enjoying producing during the lockdown. The 8 first tracks feature a selection ranging from jazz to disco without the dancefloor in mind. It was a various and distant collaborations for the first time and the result is a selection of 12 tracks “ but only 8 for the limited vinyl album”. The remaing tracks are on the ep “life” that came out late december 2021.

Petros Klampanis is a Greek bass player and when we heard his track “Chroma “on Bandcamp we had instantly the idea of a remix or working with him. The original track being live gives a sort of spontaneous vibe that really caught Alex ‘s attention and had the “edit / version” idea already in his head. Without the shadow of a doubt this track was perfect to be remixed by a real musician who can understand complex jazz arrangement, so Jon Dixon came up. Jon loved the track too and did his thing. Two versions here for you to dive deep into jazz and electronic music. We hope you dig the sound of this project and enjoy the listening and maybe the dance experience with us. Alex Attias is back with his El Mustang Project taken form his second album “Two” due early next year. In the meantime, Visions Recordings is releasing this 4-track ep with exclusive songs that won’t feature on the vinyl double album. Under the moniker El Mustang, Alex mixes organic sounds, styles and genres with his unique production sound and way of mixing the tracks. The centre of this project is rooted in jazz, soul, disco, house, boogie, bossa and drumming. This 4 tracks EP is ranging from soulful jazzy house to mad drums and futuristic disco going through broken tech and electronic afro jazz. As usual, Alex has been working with guests including Cecilia Stalin and Rouhangeze Baihoo on vocals.

Stephane Attias is back with a new 12” and this one is special, it s a tribute to Phil Asher. At the beginning of 2021, DJ, producer, mentor and friend Phil Asher passed away suddenly and Stephane naturally wanted to pay tribute to his memory like many people . Exchanging ideas and memories with some of his friends, Stephane proposed Trinidadian Deep as well as Mark de Clive-Lowe to collaborate on two tracks in Phil’s memory and the result is here now. With live percussion, organic keyboards, house beats, and broken grooves, Journey to the light and Illusion will hopefully participate to keep Phil ‘s memory alive on the dancefloor or on your sound system. On the A side, Ojibwa is an amazing journey into deepness with spacey sounds, pads, organ solo and percussions mixed around a groovy tech-soul bassline and transporting you into a groovy peak time trance. the B side Namid is a beautiful positive deep house track full of shimmering synthesizer layers and emotive components, composed with soft pads and synth leads on top of a subtle house beat and percussions.
