Clarks Originals Shoes

Founded by Cyrus and James Clark around 1825 as C&J Clark Limited, Clarks Originals can look back at a rich history. While trends appeared and disappeared, Clarks Originals always stayed true to its philosophy and always created shoes based on unique shapes and details. That’s the reason for being so heavily influential on subcultures around the globe and making an impact on the way hip-hoppers, rockers and brit-poppers dress nowadays.

From Desert Boots to Wallabee

Clarks Originals are known for laid-back casual shoes that combine the best of classic and contemporary design aesthetics and offer a simplistic design with lots of charisma. Clarks creates an amazing mix of innovative materials and craftmanship and pays lots of attention to detail. Clarks highlights include the world-famous Desert Boots; this revolutionary design was created by Nathan Clark after re-entering the family business around 1950. Another iconic footwear design by Clarks Originals is the smooth Wallabee: It’s a moccasin-inspired shoe originally titled Grasshopper that’s known for its unique silhouette, exactly fitting the contours of the foot, and its trademark crepe sole.
