For over four decades ago, Audio Pro started building powered speakers with a single ambition in mind: to give you the best sound quality at a reasonable price. Today, Audio Pro is known all over the globe – and the same ambition is still the cornerstone in everything they do. Small, powered speakers with big sound. Launched in 1978, Audio Pro first generated a buzz with the A4.14 – a radical, new solution created a sensational speaker; a 14 liters box with a built-in amplifier and ACE-Bass. The engineer Karl-Erik Ståhl is the mastermind behind many of Audio Pro’s patented ingenious innovations, most notably ACE-Bass, which allows a deep bass from small subwoofers. During the 1980s, Audio Pro made the breakthrough, thanks to products like the B2.50 powered subwoofer or A2.2 powered mini speaker, followed by one of the brand’s most-wanted designs in the 90s, the B1.20 subwoofer. The design philosophy of Audio Pro is simple yet effective: It’s all about powered speakers. From the very beginning, Audio Pro got synonymous with great sound from small speakers. And the company is still on the same route. The only difference is that everything Audio Pro does now is also offered as wireless pieces.
