Lenco DJ Equipment

In 1925, the couple Marie and Fritz Laeng opened a store that was specialized in electronic devices. To satisfy the increasing demand for turntables, Marie and Fritz Laeng made the decision to produce record players on their own. In 1946, they established a factory in Burgdorf, Switzerland, named after the family name. In 1960, Lenco introduced a turntable to the hi-fi market with a unique, ultra-strong tone arm that was also available separately. Until this day, the most successful Lenco product is the L75 turntable, a heavyweight piece with aluminum casing. In the early 1970s, Lenco continued their story of success, until the death of co-founder Marie Laeng and a global oil crisis snookered the upward trend. Till the mid-90s, Lenco introduced a large amount of high fidelity devices, lots of them to great success.
