Grave Speaker is a doom project from Massachusetts. Risen from the ashes of High n’ Heavy, it continues the journey of 70s heavy rock inspirado. Influenced by fellow doomers Acid King, Windhand, and Electric Wizard. Grave Speaker is based off the mantra “follow the vibes, not the rules.” Formed in the summer of 2023 by former HnH guitarist/songwriter John Steele, Grave Speaker is very excited to join the EVR family with it’s self-titled debut.

Green Lung are “Britain’s finest folk horror -indebted heavy metalers” (The Guardian), and this is where it all started for the band in 2018. The five track demo recording Free The Witch, including the bonus track When The Axe Comes Down, now reissued on standalone vinyl.

Remastered for vinyl by the spectacular John Davis (Lana Del Rey, Led Zeppelin, Royal Blood…) at Metropolis Studios in the UK and adorned by striking covert art by the band’s perennial collaborator Richard Wells.

Recorded live at their own studio, Dystopian Dreams was conjured with the help of Fred Forsberg of Mass Worship at the controls, capturing Harmagedon’s wildfire and blending this dense stew together. With the addition of Magnus Lindberg of Cult of Luna mastering it, Dystopian Dreams has that exceptional flavour of a future classic, where all the cogs and wheels of this merciless weapon fire on all cylinders.

Black Sabbath, Entombed, Neurosis & High on Fire spring to mind, as the calibre of Harmadgedon’s riff whirlwind is of the finest quality, the antithesis of royalty but epic and majestic in delivery. Dystopian Dreams’ hulking magnetism leads you expertly to headbang and worship at the altar of timeless metal, without the slightest remnant of doubt.

Ten years have eclipsed since French underground black metal Hell Militia released their last studio album ‘Jacob’s Ladder’. When the band regrouped in 2018, the tumult of recent years, the pandemic and real life’s comings-and-goings were perfect ammunition for Hollow Void’s creation. The resultant album is perhaps Hell Militia’s most strident effort to date. The band’s orthodox, unrelenting approach coalesce into an album that exploits the true nature of black metal: Savage, unforgiving and grim.

Hexandagger is a heavy project band featuring Brad Davis (bassist for Fu Manchu) on drums, Emily Burton (Fireball Ministry): guitars/vocals, Helen Storer (Fireball Ministry/ ex Fluffy): lead vocals/bass and Per Wiberg (Opeth, Spiritual Beggars, Grand Magus etc) Keyboards. A storm is brewing. A rebirth is on its way. Prepare for the triumphant arrival of HJELVIK. Formerly known as frontman, lyricist, and co-founder of the Norwegian party-rockers Kvelertak, Erlend Hjelvik parted ways with his bandmates in 2018 and has spent the last two years biding his time and plotting a return to action. Today, he is a rejuvenated and newly inspired metal warrior, primed and ready to launch his own solo band, HJELVIK, and their thunderous and life-affirming debut album, Welcome to Hel.

Since that debut’s explosive arrival, Ihsahn has forged fearlessly ahead, conjuring an extraordinary catalogue of ground-breaking solo albums along the way. Strong roots in extreme metal have remained an integral part of his ever-evolving sound, but from the saxophone-drenched melancholy of 2010’s After to the avant-garde squall of 2013’s Das Seelenbrechen and on to the ornate duality that produced the vicious and weather-beaten Arktis (2016) and the icily claustrophobic Ámr (2018), Ihsahn’s musical journey has been relentlessly fascinating and frequently revelatory. More than any other artist to emerge from the fertile black metal scene of the early ‘90s, Ihsahn has firmly established himself as an unpredictable maverick. Frontman and chief composer with the legendary Emperor, he re-wrote the rulebook on epic extreme music across a series of albums that are still widely regarded as classics. From the genre-defining majesty of In The Nightside Eclipse in 1994 to 2001’s wildly progressive tour-de-force Prometheus: The Discipline Of Fire & Demise, Ihsahn’s unique approach and liberated musical ethos ensured that when he embarked on a solo career with 2006’s The Adversary, fans were primed to expect the unexpected.

Inhuman were formed in December 1992 in Silves (Algarve), one of the oldest and most historic cities in Portugal. Celebrating almost a 30 year career, the band just recorded their most ambitious work, with producer Daniel Cardoso (Anathema, Angelus Apatrida, Ava Inferi) at the controls of this remarkable production. The new album is called “contra”: a strong and suggestive title for a band that never stopped believing and fighting for his place in the Heavy Metal scene. It will be released in November 2020 by Alma Mater Records(led by Fernando Ribeiro from Moonspell, who was bewitched by the brilliant proposal of the band). Received with enthusiasm by fans and critics since “Strange Desire” (1996), which was followed by the 1998 seminal “Foreshadow”, Inhuman always stood out from the majority for their ability to combine their influences (Paradise Lost, Anathema) with their unique musical characteristics, which distinguish them. “contra” will be one of the best albums of the year for Portuguese Metal and marks the band's strong return to studio albums. Den Of Iniquity was originally released on Dark Empire Records in 1993 to combine their demos and rare vinyl releases on one CD. Organized Crime is pleased to bring back this early, rare-track anthology and more than double the amount of tracks included. Spanning from the very start of the band in 1988 through 1998, Den Of Iniquity brings together 23 rare tracks as a double LP now available on “clear and ghostly” green vinyl limited to 265 copies. Includes layout by Dwid Hellion along with liner notes by Aaron Melnick.

Out of the smoke of the pandemic, Intoxicated return with a renewed energy in the form of their debut full length, Watch You Burn. Recorded at Morbid Angel's old rehearsal studio in Tampa that Intoxicated literally rehabbed and converted into a state-of-the-art studio for renown producer, Ryan Boesch (Foo Fighters, Whores, Helmet, Melvins, Andrew WK), now known as Candor Recording, Watch You Burn is a product of a band on a mission who's Florida roots are worn proudly on their sleeves. While you can hear traces of Obituary, Massacre, and Chuck Schuldiner sprinkled all over the album, Intoxicated offer much more than shades of death. There is a heavy crossover vibe present ala D.R.I. or early C.O.C., as well as some Skate Punk /Thrash like the early Venice Beach bands. In addition, there are moments you'll swear you heard a Matt Pike riff or something out of the Nola playbook. With guest spots courtesy of friends Tony Foresta of Municipal Waste and Ken Andrews of Obituary, Watch You Burn is a bonafide rager! Intoxicated took little time off during the pandemic, adding a new guitarist, John Sutton, who is no stranger to the Florida metal scene having spent time with 90's act Pain Principle. In the last 6 months alone, Intoxicated have supported Obituary, Massacre, Nasty Savage, Gruesome, D.R.I., The Casualties, Inhuman Condition and High Reeper. With Andrew WK's disappearance leaving Erik Payne and Gregg Roberts to their own devices, Intoxicated have certainly taken a front seat and there is no sign of slowing down - the band have the pedal to the floor and plan to be out supporting the album all Summer. Isengard was the solo-project initially started in 1989 by Fenriz – one the key driving forces behind Norwegian legends Darkthrone – because he had many musical ideas to explore that didn’t strictly fit in with the style and music of his main band. Under the Isengard moniker, Fenriz released 2 albums encapsulating doom, death, black & Folk/Viking metal in the shape of ‘Vinterskugge‘ & ‘Høstmørke‘, & finally we welcome the third addition to this cult project. After a period of 25 long years since Isengard’s last studio output, and having recently unearthed a set of tracks from his own archive of material recorded back in those early glory days, this new series of tracks – which were thought to be lost – follow on from some of the metal last heard on 1994’s ‘Vinterskugge’. ‘Vårjevndøgn’ is a monumental journey of epic heavy metal mixed with a often more sombre doomy rock/metal atmosphere bringing to mind bands like US heavy metal veterans Pentagram, & also includes 2 tracks previously only heard on the limited ‘Traditional Doom Cult’ 7” Peaceville release from 2017. Everything on ‘Vårjevndøgn’ was performed and engineered by Fenriz himself. The tracks were all recorded between 1989 & 1993 using the infamous Necrohell Studios, notable for recording Darkthrone’s classic ‘Transilvanian Hunger’ & ‘Panzerfaust’ albums. ‘Vårjevndøgn’ was mastered by Jack control at Enormous Door.

Këkht Aräkh is the Ukrainian project founded in 2018 by Dmitry Marchenko. The debut album Night & Love was initially released on the Finnish label Livor Mortis in 2019 and it's now seeing a worldwide reissue via Brooklyn label Sacred Bones.Dmitry's intent to experiment with standard black metal canons previously seen at play in Through the Branches to Eternity EP (2018) solidify further on Night & Love, he mentions "back then I had an idea of combining Darkthrone's Transilvanian Hunger type of black metal with early Internazionale or Croatian Amor vibe."Described as ambient or atmospheric black metal, this debut presents Këkht Aräkh's signature dichotomy of harsh traditional early Norwegian black metal and the more ethereal and delicate melodies. On the other hand the lyrics are romantic and melancholic, clearly influenced by a stark Gothic imagery, and serve as an extra layer of mystery to the already suggestive body of work. The album beings with a soft acoustic intro in "As the Night Falls_" before descending into the raw and raucous "Elegy for the Memory of Me" and "Den Venstre Hånd På Den Hoyre", both songs that are drenched in the more traditional black metal style of raspy, high-pitched vocals, dense, tremolo- picked riffs and fast paced drums. It is however songs like "Night" and "Love" that really set this album apart. "Night" is a softly spoken word ambient track that with a beautiful piano synth work that permeates throughout it aids in the romantic delivery and conjuring of imagery of the night. "Love" is a spellbinding and melancholic song, equal in its romanticism but one that displays a deeper sorrow and tenderness supported by calming field recordings of trickling water.The intertwining of black metal, dark folk and ambient repeats itself, culminating in a quietly hummed outro "...And Never Ends (Eternal Love)" that alludes to and completes the album's first track.
